The beach view was the best part about my trip. I wanted the ocean view villa for my first time experience to the Virgin Islands. Everything was all wonderful until I complained and complained about the room I was in, I was moved to a down grade room and said I would be accommodated about that. My flight was canceled to the next day so thinking they would be glad to just accommodate me in that way but no I had got 30 dollars off another room. Not mad about paying for another room it’s the way the manager Jevon went about the situation he embarrassed me in front of customers yelling saying I was harassing him because I simply wanted customers support number other than the rude customer service it was great stay.

Frustrating stay

We got the villa at the top of the hill. It was nice. It had a pool for two people overlooking the Caribbean. It was alot of walking to the car. The main pool was awful and disgusting. We told the front desk. It was cloudy and dirty. There was no food or drink available on the property. They advertise a restaurant however there wasn't anything available. In fact it appeared there hadn't been anything open in a year. There wasn't a beach to swim at, we were told to go down the road to their sister resort. Luckily we had a rental car.

Reservation was messed up on the hotel side, and the manager corrected it and possibly even upgraded us The hotel is actually in need of a few million dollar input to bring it up to the prestige that it was at one time Hotel was fine for what we were trying to achieve for our first trip to St. Thomas Sadly, the hotel had no real beach access and the bistro has been closed down for sometime We found all The employees to be accommodating and fwelcoming

Lindbergh is very close to airport so it is noisy at times. About a half mile to beach downhill, but a workout coming back. Only one restaurant within walking distance so we took taxis regularly… about $40 round trip for 2 to Charlotte Amalie. Biggest issues were shower that only trickled water, toilet that did not flush properly, broken lamp, lock box that they never unlocked after asking several times, dead bolt on door did not work. They did fix lamp, toilet and shower initially but all failed again before we left. Last day the AC would not go on initially but started when we tried again an hour later. The good part was the patio that overlooked the beautiful view of the bay. So refreshing. Fell asleep to the sounds of the waves. A note: after we reported our initial issues and they fixed the shower, toilet, and lamp, they sent up a bottle of sparkling wine and glasses. Unfortunately everything started failing again after 6 days. When we left, the person at the desk seemed sincerely apologetic. Otherwise it was clean. (The lock box and door dead lock were never fixed.).

The property was very convenient from the airport and quiet. The only downside was parking. If you have a rental car and go out to dinner and venture back around 9pm, parking is a wish and prayer .

Five minute walk to the airport. This was probably an amazing place in it's day, it's very nice but showing it's age. My partner says it feels like Hemingway would have stayed here,bit has been hard sort of vibe. I wish the owners would invest in bringing this place back, I'm told they focus more on their Emerald Beach property. I liked it but everything you might want, like food or drinks is off site.

I was really impressed with the view from our villa. If you're looking for a quiet out of the way ocean view and you want affordability than this is your spot. It was a bit dated on the interior, but the bed was comfortable and the TV worked. We stayed here for a week and don't regret it.

Good choice

Great place to stay close to the airport! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Nice pool with 3 iguanas hanging out! Some things were broken, window in bathroom didn’t close, but was clean, comfortable bed and hot shower! Restaurant is closed but easy walk to the airport!

We enjoyed everything here but unfortunately, its doesnt matter if youre a platinum member of Expedia they wont upgrade you or give you and early checkin/out unless you pay. Besides that we had a great time.

Property NOT as advertised. No restuarant on property. No shuttle, no way to get food or drink. Just awful. If you walk a mile in the heat you can go to their sister property. This property should be closed!!!
