The property is a little tired, but in good condition and a great value. Neighborhood around there during the day is tourist stuff catering to the cruise ships. At night there's some fun bars that locals frequent. Everyone is super nice and we had a blast. If you want a great sandwich, go to Double Play and get a Chimi....the sauce is magic.

As of Feb 2025...

This convenient hotel is right on a main boulevard and allows for easy transit around the island, whether by rental car or in a safari. That proximity does, however, mean that you'll hear the road noise, especially of the hot-rodders. The property is still in recovery from Hurricanes Irma & Maria and are also doing some renovation so a few things may be missing from the room like the iron, board, clock or telephone. the staff are responsive when you alert them to issues. Breakfast in the on-property restaurant was delicious but the staffing has been impacted by recent US immigration drama; the remaining staff do their best and are of good humor, despite the increase in their workload. There is a grocery within easy walking distance as well as some local food trucks and small restaurants in the area. The view from the bay-side rooms is unbeatable!

It was all we wanted for a one night stay while waiting for a ferry boat the following morning. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and conveniently close to the ferry boat.

The hotel has seen better days. It was mostly empty for the time that we stayed there. The room was clean but very simple and plain. The hotel staff were polite and helpful, but they gave me the impression that they had a job to do. If I needed help, they would respond but didn't seem to have a lot of energy. They had a restaurant, but it was closed most of the time. I loved the location because it was near the city and not far from the airport. If I went back to the island, I'd look for another place, but if it was the only one, I'd take it and try to negotiate the price.

I love the view in the morning when you wake up and look out and see the beautiful scenery. The staff are friendly and helpful. Having an ocean view room is wonderful. When you leave for the day and come back the room is clean each and every day. Walking to and from the property is great in any direction. There’s so much to see and visiting the different stores and restaurants was wonderful. If you love to walk you will love the scenery as well from the waterfront to Main Street in town. Driving around is just as beautiful as well.

Check in is 4:30 which is later than I am used too especially after a long flight to top it off the lobby had numerous of people waiting upset there was an additional 40 mins of waiting period before rooms were assigned.. Found a roach in the shower and on the bed. Reported it to the front desk and the response was I will let housekeeping know.. unacceptable.. Inconvenient when it’s time to dine.. no microwave to preheat food bought outside the hotel. Breakfast was also a long wait before served with no hospitality from one of the server not sure what her position is but surely wasn’t pleasing and her tone was unacceptable..

TV and phone didn't work. Went to take a shower and red sediment flowed out of the spout which has stained the tub and foot mat. We were moved to the room right next door. Construction outside made it impossible to sleep in past 7a. Dining option were very limited and depended on the day. Nice people but the facility is tired, old and dirty. I do not recommend

Please, verify that when the room gets serviced they leave towels!. Called for towels and after 1 hour nobody answered the call and it was necessary to go to the,lobby to receive service.

I loved the pool! I expected the pool water to be hot but it was quite refreshing! We ate at the restaurant on site and had a very good meal. I had salmon and my wife had a salad. Both were very good. Being on a main thoroughfare it was very noisy in my 4th floor room.
