I stayed there twice now, for one night the first time, then four nights. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant inside the hotel was great. It was very quiet and I like the location. My room was tidy and had no issues overall. When I stayed for a few nights, my room was not cleaned at all. I had garbage piling up and it was pretty gross. The shower had no curtain (but an opening where a door/curtain should be), so I had to try really hard to shower without getting the floor wet. Seems like a lot of stuff there is not well-maintained - I found a broken hair dryer in one of the bathroom drawers, for example. The price was still reasonable, though, and I would stay again.

This is a great example of an older city hotel doing it, right. Clean, nothing broken or worn out. Great staff from the friendly front desk, efficient housekeeping and security personnel. Great stay with a great location.

Coffee was not restocked,room was dirty, walls had tears all over them, the toilet didn’t flush correctly and it poured water all over we call the front desk no one came up until we left could shower because we used the 1 towel they gave us yo clean the water up and had to go down to the lobby to use the bathroom

Room and bed were very clean. I had to request decaf coffee, fresh creamer, light bulb missing from desk lamp; old chair and no chair lamp, broken recharger station by the bed (not attached properly), and unsafe appearing multiplug wall socket that was not flitting properly into the wall, and safe door was locked. TV did not work and needed engineer to visit the room to fix. After I asked for this to be fixed, it was open but safe still not operational. I found the front desk staff excellent, kind and responsive as well as security guard. Disappointed that restaurant was closed to the public, now used as an event space for Ct. Junior Rangers- so only food available was small kiosk area- not sufficient for the size of the hotel. Despite all of this, I would return to this hotel due to great location and reasonable cost, friendly staff; but facility needs some investment., i.e., wall paper peeling in bathroom. Would also advise soap dispensers (intead of small containers of soap).

This hotel is getting very rundown. The carpets are stained, the wallpaper has tears and the counter in the bathroom had pieces peeling off. The shower didn’t drain properly, and we did tell the front desk several times. They said they sent someone up, but it still wasn’t fixed. We’ve stayed there many times before, as we have family in the area, but I’m not sure we’ll stay again.

Lobby is the only thing that looks a bit modern but once you get to the elevators, ALL OLD! Got off the elevator on the 6th floor… OLD OLD OLD! Felt like I was in a motel in the 50s and 60s! Not a hotel. Room was atrocious. Again VERY OLD and worn out. Bathroom concept is terrible. No shower door, water everywhere..
