Room didn't appear it was cleaned

Have been staying at the Penn stater for many years. this trip was not as good as past trips. The room was not very clean. Found hairs on floor an in sink and a used washcloth wrapped inside a clean towel and water still in ice bucket from last occupant. Felt as though wasn't even cleaned at all. Legends restaurant was excellent as it has always been so that was the highlight of the trip. This Hotel is very tired and needs some updating for the price.

I appreciated the complimentary shuttle which allowed us to het to and ftom the hockey game without baving to drive and park. Always appreciate the complimentsry coffee and hot chocolate. Its a small thing but makes a difference.

I did not like the memory foam mattress and the blankets were insufficient. I requested extra blankets.

It was perfect, the staff made the stay extra special. Hotel rooms were clean, and the shuttle bus they have is so helpful when going to a Penn State Hockey Game.

Okay

We started out on a real bad note. I choose this hotel over another that was $50/night cheaper because this one had a pool. When we got there we saw the sign “Due to unforeseen circumstances the pool is closed.” I was hoping the hotel itself would make up for that disappointment, but it didn’t. It was okay - the beds weren’t awful, but they weren’t comfy either. The furniture was fine. The tv kept changing on its own, which I figured out was someone in the next room trying to use their remote. If I ever come back to Penn State, I will probably look elsewhere.
