We were visiting family in October, before ski season. Communication with the host at the time we booked, the day of check-in, and the day of check-out was excellent and clearly communicated all the necessary steps. The interior of the 2-bed, 2-bath condo was warm and comforting. The condo was clean and spotless. The unit was located on the second floor and had elevator access to the garage. We appreciated the shopping carts located in the garage that made it easier to haul our luggage and belongings from the garage to the unit. The exterior of the condo (the grounds) were manicured and very well maintained. We used the tennis court, which was in very good condition. We didn't use either of the two pools, but both looked clean and inviting. During the day, we did interact with the staff in the club house and everyone was exceptionally helpful and friendly. A large grocery store and restaurants are all a 5 minute drive up the road. Closer to the condo, a small grocery store that sells higher end provisions plus morning baked goods is up the block. We would stay here again in a heart beat. All in all, a perfect place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the beauty of Steamboat Springs.

ski getaway

The condo at Champagne lodge was below standard. There were two bathroom sinks that were clogged, the kitchen floor was dirty, the microwave was old with a trim piece missing and then stopped working, the kitchen was not well stocked with basic cooking utensils and cookware. These things could easily be remedied to make the stay at that condo much more enjoyable. Linda Roos

Great place, convenient location

We stayed here over the holidays for 4 nights with our family of 4, kids ages 8 and 11. It was perfect for what we needed, living area is comfortable and the location is very much in walking distance to the base. The shuttle service is very convenient, and rarely did we have to wait as it seemed they had 2 or 3 running. Did not use the amenities of Trappeurs during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Family and Friend visits

Planned visit to son living in Steamboat. Found out friends from Greg's younger years also have daughter living in Steamboat for short time. Katie suggested we all visit at the same time to reunite everyone. Having the VRBO gave us more time to catch up, plan our outings and just relaxing without having to sit in a hotel room. Very comfortable, roomy and easy going. We had such an enjoyable time. The condo was move in ready, necessities supplied. Definitely will consider doing this again.

Nice unit and location. Somewhat dark due to location. Some of the windows did not open easily and the air conditioning was not operable. There was a note on the units stating that, but it would have been helpful to know this ahead of time.

Beautiful place to get away

This place is very comfortable and spacious. It’s just a short drive from the main drag of Steamboat. The kitchen has all the basics, certainly everything we needed for a long weekend. We appreciated the carts in the garage for loading and unloading. The pool and hot tubs were especially nice after long hikes. We’ll definitely be back!
