If you'd rather walk, the slopes are about 1/4 mile and there is also a free Steamboat City bus stop about 1/10th of a mile away. If you're visiting during the summer, hop on your bike from the home and access miles of trails nearby or if walking is more your speed, there are plenty of sidewalks and serene neighborhood trails to enjoy.
The home has a private 1 car garage, and that is the only guaranteed parking space. There is no driveway parking. The garage is modern and clean and will fit a Ford Explorer sized vehicle. The neighborhood does have a covered parking structure which is on a first-come, first-served basis and a spot is not guaranteed, but its rare that it fills up since all the homes in the neighborhood have 1 or 2 car private garages. Or skip driving in the snow altogether and rely on the ski season looping shuttle and other public transportation options and grocery delivery service and really relax.
