Chalet #71 is part of the iconic Chalet on the Lake resort and is ideally located near the resort’s sports courts and open green space. Just a short walk from Lake Michigan, this 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom chalet sleeps up to 6 guests and available for year-round stays. Guests enjoy access to the resort’s popular amenities, including sandy beaches, three swimming pools, sports courts, beach volleyball, playgrounds, scenic ponds, and expansive lawns.

THE SPACE
Chalet #71 features a warm wood interior and an open layout designed for gathering. The main living area offers comfortable seating, TV, and easy access to the dining and kitchen spaces, making it so easy for everyone to relax and spend time together.

The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for preparing meals at home, and the dining area offers space for shared dinners or game nights.

A highlight of this home is the private screened porch, overlooking the grassy common area and nearby sports courts. It offers a peaceful, insect-free setting for enjoying the fresh Lake Michigan air long after twilight.

Upstairs, two bedrooms provide family-friendly sleeping arrangements, making this chalet well-suited for families or small groups traveling together. A full bathroom is located on the main level for added convenience.

Guests have access to shared amenities that include three pools, tennis and pickleball courts, a playground, shuffleboard, a beach volleyball court, and quiet pond areas. Spend your days exploring golden Lake Michigan beaches, boutique wineries, craft breweries, and farm-to-table restaurants that define the region’s coastal charm. Nearby St. Joseph and New Buffalo offer vibrant shopping, galleries, and seasonal festivals, while local trails, nature preserves, and orchards invite peaceful outdoor adventures.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.

All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect you may need to cancel your reservation.

Pets are not allowed at this property.

A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party, up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
