Rest and recharge at this contemporary holiday pod on a friendly working farm 6 miles from Stirling. Sleeping four guests (2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children), the bespoke pod makes the perfect base for families who love getting out and about in nature. The surrounding area is a paradise for walkers and cyclers with popular routes to explore along the River Teith (ideal for fishing) around the grounds of Doune Castle, or at one of the nearby nature reserves, such as Flanders Moss (5 miles). Blairdrummond Smiddy is just 1 mile away offering great food and a lovely farm shop. The nearby villages of Thornhill village 3 miles and Gargunnock 5 miles which also boasts excellent restaurants and traditional pubs. Further afield, The Highlands and Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park are within easy reach. There are a handful of shops and eateries in the quaint village of Doune, 3 miles away, or head into Callander (10 miles) or Stirling (6 miles) for high street shops and larger restaurants. Nearby attractions and days out include Blair Drummond Safari Park, Briarlands Farm, Deanston Distillery, Stirling Castle, and the National Wallace Monument (all within 10 miles).

The wood-clad pod is located on a family-run farm alongside two other holiday retreats and boasts far-reaching views across open countryside. Inside, the pod is decorated in a contemporary style, with natural tones and textures and a collection of plush soft furnishings. To the front of the property is a cosy lounge area with a plump sofa and a Smart TV. Along one wall is a sleek breakfast bar and a small kitchen area for rustling up hearty breakfasts and light bites. The pod has a studio-style layout, with a cleverly partitioned double bed to the rear. Rounding off the interior is a stylish shower room.

Directly outside the pod is a decked terrace with furniture for al fresco dining in the summer months. You'll also have a bubbling hot tub to sink into after a long walk or a day of sightseeing. Guests can view some of the animals on the farm, directly from your pod including Clydesdale horses, sheep and cattle. Private parking is available for two cars.
