Overall a good stay, suited our requirements, breakfast was good but finished at 9:00, and cleared away very quickly. We eat in the restaurant the first night and it was very good, it would have been nice if reception had advised us to book a time after we had checked they were open (Sunday night). Rooms are tired(very) but still functional and ours was large. Our room had a round toilet seat on a normal shaped toilet, Why!!!

Located within the University of Stirling campus, the extensive landscaped grounds offer a safe and tranquil environment. A bus service links the campus with Stirling town for those without their own transport (which is recommended for this out-of-town location). An excellent breakfast and a bar are available although there are no lunch and dinner facilities. Carpeted throughout, the building is warm and quiet. Wifi is free. Rooms are comfortably appointed whilst the usual bottled water, often found in other hotels, is not one of the items provided (except by payment from a vending drinks machine). This hotel does attract business conferences. A pleasant and comfortable venue.

This is a convenient place, outside Inverness, but be aware it is a big hotel and hosts conferences and it can be noisy if the crowd spills outside on summer nights. The staff were great and the food was lovely (we only had breakfast). The rooms could do with a little upgrade, but they were clean and that's the main thing. Thank you goes to the staff, they do a great job.

Bed is on wheels and does not lock so it rolls away from the wall. Limited outlets. Hairs on the bed and floor. Toilet was not flushed from previous person so washroom was not checked when room was cleaned. All the lights flicker when turning on.

I liked the fact that this facility supports the University of Stirling. The grounds were amazing; walking trails; and an amazing view of the Wallace Monument from one of the event rooms. The breakfast was sufficient; the bar was well-stocked; and, the staff were friendly and professional.

Room is very dated, it was clean enough but the furniture was old and damaged, light didn’t work properly as it flickered consistently. Bed was really uncomfortable, super hard in the middle then softer at the edges. Never seen a tv so small in my life. Room was really humid when we first went in. There was also very obvious staff conflict in the evening, one waitress in particular appeared very rude to another one. Conflict was very obvious to customers, not very professional.

Nice grounds although it was in the university grounds. The room itself was grubby dated dirty carpet. The shower was that week I couldn’t wash my hair and the surfaces of the cupboard spaces were all stained and faded.

This is a basic university hotel. and a bit far from Stirling itself. Although there is a Unlink bus next to the parking lot, their schedule can be hit or miss. Staff is great.
