Hazel Grove benefits from its own train station, which is a 15-minute walk away, and offers a direct service to the wonderful spa town of Buxton (40 mins) in one direction or the bright lights of Manchester city centre (25 mins) in the other. For those with children or pets Torkington Park is a 10-minute walk and home to ‘The Secret Garden’ together with recreational facilities including football pitches and tennis courts.

The National Trusts Lyme Park is around a 10-minute drive away, and both Hazel Grove (0.7 miles) and Stockport (1.7 miles) golf courses are easily accessible. Cycle trails such as the traffic free Middlewood Way and Sett Valley Trail can be picked up locally and by car you can reach the Peak District National Park in a mere 10 minutes.
