Welcome to Clinkum Cottage – a charming, newly redesigned accommodation that comfortably sleeps up to five guests in three bedrooms. Boasting similarities to our Archway Cottage, Clinkum offers splendid views of the canal and lake from its dual balconies. The reconfigured layout ensures every guest can enjoy the space safely, with ample room for relaxation and activities. You’ll find several perfect spots for a picnic or BBQ in our expansive grounds.

Children will love the yard in front of Clinkum, an ideal play area for scooters, trikes, and swingball, or simply observing the local wildlife around the lake. Clinkum Cottage is centrally located within the building.

We kindly ask our guests to consider the neighbours below, particularly during the evening. If you’re travelling as a large family group, hiring Archway below might be the perfect solution.

Due to Clinkum’s location, we prefer to rent it to family groups and may ask for the composition of your group to avoid adult-only groups. If you’re an adult group, we encourage you also to check out our other cottages. Clinkum comprises:

- A spacious, open-plan main living area with a dining table that seats up to 10 guests.

- A well-equipped kitchen, perfect for any culinary endeavours.

- Balconies on both sides to relish the beautiful views and enjoy some downtime in the great outdoors.

The lake has swimming and boats which you can use at your own leisure

The BBQ pit needs to be booked at an extra charge of £30 a session which 5pm to 10pm the £30 booking includes a bucket of charcoal and a trug of logs, which should be sufficient for a small group of up to 6.

Extra charcoal or logs can be purchased at £10 each. If the area is not booked, you are very welcome to go and picnic or relax at no charge

There is table football, a magnetic dart board, table tennis, little scooters, trampoline, swing and slides, swing ball and piano in the communal games area which is separate to the cottage and shared with the other guests
