Beautiful characterful home , tastefully furnished and warm . With a well equipped kitchen Good location with lovely grounds and parking for 2 vehicles . Quirky doors and sloping floors added to the charm . The steep stairs may be an issue to anyone with mobility issues We would definitely stay here again 🙂

Spring cottage is a beautiful house, traditional with a lovely homely feel, it is off the road and has a lovely garden with regular cat visitor. It is close to the Co-op and only 10 minutes into stoke on Trent.

Lovely house, suited the requirements for 3 generations

A lovely historic house with 3 log fires and central heating so you can always be warm. The garden is pretty and the neighbours were friendly. We stayed for a wedding the The Ashes Barns which was only a few minutes away by car. The stairs are steep in keeping with the building but the door across the top on the landing is a great idea, we still used it when there was just the 2 of us. The outside toilet and sun loungers were a bonus and we visited Stanley for a walk along a beautiful and quiet stretch of the canal. Thank you to the hosts for accommodating a late departure to support my husbands health needs. I would definitely recommend this cottage.
