Also known as Stoke under Ham, Stoke-sub-Hamdon in Somerset, is a large country village a few miles west of the bustling market town of Yeovil. Here you will find a range of shops to stock up on holiday essentials including a farm shop and a community shop, as well as number of traditional pubs such as the Cat Head Inn and The Kings Arms which are just perfect for stopping off and enjoying a pint after a hard day of exploring. Dining options include Castello and New Farm Restaurant. Rudeness and verbal abuse from neighbours

Our stay was spoilt by the unpleasant verbal and aggressive attitude of our neighbours. Because we had it transpired, parked in their designated parking bay on our first day. We did receive the instructions for the correct parking space for our property until the following day. I would suggest the correct bay is marked clearly with the house number, so future guests don’t experience the same rudeness and verbal abuse we did.
