Stone Ridge is a charming hamlet located in Ulster County, New York. Nestled in the scenic Hudson Valley, this quaint town offers a peaceful and picturesque atmosphere for visitors. Surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills, Stone Ridge is known for its historic architecture, vibrant arts community, and outdoor recreational opportunities.

Visitors to Stone Ridge can explore its historic district, featuring well-preserved 18th and 19th-century buildings, including stone houses that give the town its name. AWD/4WD is HIGHLY recommended during the winter, the road leading to the house is gravel and there is a very steep hill to get up to the driveway. Cars with RWD or FWD may have trouble getting up the driveway with snow or ice.

Woodland Retreat is a brand-new home with all of the modern touches you love and all of the character you crave. This home is warm and inviting–perfect for a quick getaway or extended family trip, work retreat or wellness refuge. The home features a gorgeous and expansive kitchen, perfect for entertaining and making memories with family and friends. It includes a center island with breakfast bar seating; ample countertops for prepping, all-new stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher for easy clean up.

The living room is anchored by enormous windows that shower the room with light and views of the surrounding greenery. The room, with its double stacked windows features a wood-burning fireplace and comfortable seating to gather around and enjoy.

There is a first-floor office off of the living room for anyone looking to WFH while they visit.

The bedrooms include:

Primary bedroom with a King size bed and ensuite bathroom (rain shower, soaking tub) and walk in closet
Bedroom 2: Queen size bed
Bedroom 3: Queen size bed

There is an additional guest bathroom on the first and second floor as well as a bathroom with a shower in the basement.

Basement: Features everything you need to entertain yourselves–including a shuffleboard table, cozy couch and Smart TV.

Outside, there is a Weber gas grill available, outdoor seating and a firepit with Adirondack chairs. The Modpool is made from a shipping container with aquarium glass on one side.

Baby Equipment:
At this property, we provide pack & play and high chair for your convenience. For any additional baby items, we highly recommend bringing your own or sending us a message in advance so we can recommend a nearby rental service.

Please note, this property does have exterior cameras for safety and security. These are only located on the exterior of the property, never the interior, and will not be monitored during your stay unless an issue arises.


You can rest easy knowing your stay is covered with $1,500 in “All-Risk” Damage Protection. We hope you enjoy your vacation with peace of mind knowing that if an accident happens and damages occur, you are protected.

Pets: Sorry, strict no-pets policy. An unauthorized pet will result in a fee of up to $500.

- Routinely scheduled maintenance by Home Sweet Hudson team members or lawn care/snow plowing may happen during your stay. This also includes garbage pick up, linen pickup, hot tub service and pool cleanings.
- Parking shall be allowed solely in the designated parking spaces
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
- Weapons are strictly prohibited
- Please adhere to safety instructions for fireplaces, fire pits, etc.
- Due to the risk of fire, please do not charge your electric car on the property.
- We do not allow parties or extra guests outside the maximum occupancy allowed on the reservation. We also ask you to follow the good neighbor guidelines and abide by quiet hours after 9 pm.
- Please do not trespass on property boundaries
- Tents, yurts, and other camping equipment are prohibited
- For safety purposes there are security cameras facing the driveway and front door of the home

Please be advised that every 30 minutes spent on the property past 11am check out time a $50 fee will be initiated and charged to the card on file used to book the listing. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
