The owners were so sweet, very informative about area and places to eat nearby, the room was so clean, heater worked great, bed was so comfortable, water pressure excellent and those towels were like blankets, the breakfast was menu with lots of choices including the full Scottish breakfast as an option, tea was great, coffee was wonderful, location was on a working farm it was the best stay thus far on our roadtrip thru Scotland, would definitely stay again!!!!

This is a great little bed and breakfast, out in the middle of farming country in rural Scotland. We were there to explore several of the little villages out that way, so this was the perfect location! Breakfast was terrific, the room was spacious and cozy. We'd definitely stay here again!

Comfy stay with friendly hosts

We felt very welcome despite arriving after check in hours. Aside from the friendly host, there were delicious pieces of cake waiting for us. The breakfast was a treat and the hosts very kind. I’d definitely recommend a stay here.

After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered. I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop. It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen.
