Welcome to Albert House, a luxe Scandinavian-style bunk house, situated on 14 serene acres in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Built in 2020 with families in mind and with painstaking attention to detail, quality, and design, Albert House guests enjoy views for miles along with close proximity to all of the Hill Country hot spots.

I have rented many VRBO properties and this one stands out due to many contributing factors. Eddy was quick to communicate, the property was immaculate, well stocked and seemed as if it were built with renters in mind. From thoughtfully placed hooks, plenty of outlets, and more amenities than I would ever expect.

Booked for our special anniversary. Perfect place. A short drive to Albert Ice House for live music every night. Great location for all our day trips throughout hill country. Furnishings are fantastic. Kitchen stocked well. Pool was great place to watch sunsets.

Wonderful MOMcation

The property is amazing. It was the perfect place to get away for a few days and enjoy the hill country. The house is beautifully designed and close to lots of wineries. The pool/spa was great and easy to use. There are no light blocking curtains so if you plan on sleeping in bring an eye mask, but honestly the sunset/sunrise views are worth it!

A peaceful retreat

The house is beautiful and the location feels isolated and quiet, yet is centrally situated between Fredericksburg and Johnson City. We spent days swimming and lounging and enjoying all the wildflowers. Thank you for this peaceful place!

Fun weekend girls’ trip

The house was wonderful. It was spacious and beautifully and functionally decorated. It was comfortable for a large group of friends and had everything we needed. We loved the pool, outdoor spaces, and view. It was an easy drive in to Fredericksburg and local wineries. I would definitely stay again. One note: while my group didn’t mind at all because there’s much to do inside and outside the house, if you’re hoping to have lots of television time on your trip this house does not have many.

Perfect Group Stay!

Albert House covered every detail for our group stay! We booked this trip for our family and it was beyond perfect. The entire home is gorgeous, comfortable, peaceful and easy to enjoy. The property is beautiful and had lots of amenities that my kids enjoyed. We traveled with our young children and the space is very easy to enjoy with littles in tow, which is hard to come by when staying away from home. An added bonus was how comfortable the couches and beds are…will be upgrading my own home now! We will definitely be back!

All you need to get away from it all

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property and could not have been happier with the set up of this well designed home. The home is well stocked with everything you could need to hunker down with friends or family. Unbelievable sunsets can be had by the pool and the hot tub is a nice bonus as the temperature cools a bit in the evening. Very close to wineries and the Albert Dance Hall if you want to get out and about, but the place is so lovely you may just want to stay home. The owners let us know, prior to arriving, there had been some issues from previous guests that they were working on - they were great communicators and everything worked out just great. We enjoyed our stay and would totally stay here again…highly recommend.

The BEST vacation house for our family!

First of all, the house is beyond gorgeous (the hosts have thought of EVERYTHING) - but, more importantly, our kids absolutely loved it and had the best time! We stayed mostly at the property, but did venture into Fredericksburg for dinner and ice cream one night. We'll definitely be back!

Wine Country getaway

House was just as advertised and very well setup. The rooms are on opposite 'wings' of the house so getting kids away from adults was easy. Everything is relatively new and updated, and house came with everything one would need, including pool towels. It's set back about 10 minutes from 290 in a very private setting.
