The room looked like a former summer camp bunk converted to a hotel room - sparse but clean. The breakfast is delicious -- fresh and homemade -- but they play extremely loud music and won't turn it down, subverting conversation and the ability to meet other guests (as a result, people leave quickly). If I had it to do over again, I would have stayed elsewhere.

The room was clean, hosts were friendly, the breakfast was good, the accommodations were great for young couples. Unfortunately, being seniors, this was not for us! We had to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to our room, and being 65+ was not easy! And it got pretty loud until 2am with guests next to us, then they finally went to sleep but kept us up! Great for young people, but not for seniors.

AWOL was a great experience! Room was very clean. We were arriving late and the staff was super accommodating to make sure we got into our room. Bartender was super sweet and made excellent drinks! Breakfast- try the rosemary bread! We will be back!

The hotel was in a great location within walking distance of everything, however the room itself was much smaller and not as shown in the photos… Still a decent sized room but don’t expect it to match photo. Additionally; there was a musty/mildew smell each day which when discussed, they quickly offered to bring in an ozone machine. While it fixed the smell, appears to be a common issue. Breakfast was great with a nice spread and plenty of options. For the price we paid which may have been been peak pricing in early October, not sure we would stay again due to room size/smells.

Breakfast was not good. Items were limited. My wife asked for boiled eggs and she got an attitude and half cold egg. There was no espresso coffee. Service was very limited at breakfast, staff rude and inattentive. Hallway to our room 279 was dirty with cobwebs, limited light. Stairs narrow. There is a big difference in entry to lower level units (much nicer) compared to upper units, for the same price!!!
