2 Bedroom Lodge located in Maryport Holiday Park, Drummore

The Lodge is set on the beach in the quiet location of Drummore, the most southerly village in Scotland.

All on ground Floor

Living Room / Dining Room with TV and large window looking at to the beach and sea. With decking surrounding the lodge along with private gardens.

Kitchen - electric induction hob, toaster and kettle, fridge / freezer.

Double Bedroom - with en-suite shower room.

Twin/Single Bedroom - Two single beds and drawers/wardrobe.

Bathroom - Shower and Facilities also Washer.



Please note towels are not provided at the Lodge.

TV is intermittent depending on the weather.

The Lodge does not have Internet / WiFi

The Mull of Galloway RSPB nature reserve is home to more than 3,500 nesting seabirds such as puffins, guillemots, black guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes and fulmars. Other attractions are plentiful in the area from golfing, fishing, sailing and horse riding. Of course no stay is complete without a visit to some of the most beautiful Gardens in Scotland including the world famous Logan Botanic Gardens featuring some rare and beautiful plants and trees, and Ardwell Gardens and Glenwhan Gardens. For the younger family members of the party, Agnew Park in Stranraer has a wide range of leisure facilities including a large boating lake with a range of boats; a specially designed themed crazy golf course; an 18 hole putting green. A miniature railway, which provides visitors with a tour of the park and also available is a sand filled play park, with various play structures.
During your stay at this lodge, you'll be close to Crammag Head Lighthouse. Laundry facilities are available.

We had a wonderful time here. Jakeb was the best host- even leaving us some fun Sursees when we arrived. He was attentive before, during and after our stay at his home. The house was beautiful and well-appointed for us all. Our group was big and we all felt comfy there, plenty of seating and kitchen space to all gather. The home also had so many things for our time at the beach- wagon, beach toys, and towels. Jakeb thought of everything. The walk to the beach is easy and the beach was clean and not crowded, We all had access to the Point West Beach Club which was great as it had pools, hot tubs, a lazy river and restaurant and bar. All ages of our group loved this amenity. We would definitely come back here as we felt like we were treated like family!

Brilliant beach front lodge with a lighthouse view

The hosts were great with communication. The check in instructions were easy to follow. A "user guide" would be a good addition to explain electric fire, heat, etc. And, toconfirm that i was in the right lodge and hadnt accidentally broken into someone else's bit!

Everything was spot on. My only beef was that the decking needs to have anti slip paint applied as my disabled partners cane slipped and she fell but this didn’t undermine our stay in any way. Lovely place and lovely people owners and locals. 😄

The lodge was perfectly placed, looking out to sea. 2 nights wasn't enough. The lodge was clean and tidy and cosy, with plenty of room. 2 good bathrooms & showers. We want to go back very soon.

What a view

Absolutely loved our stay. Accommodation was good had everything you need. The view was out of this world. Had a big garden and beach access for us and the dog. Host was fab gave us lots of information regarding the area. Contacted her husband to stay longer as we enjoyed it so much didn't want to come home. Can't wait to rebook. Will definetely be back. Fantastic location & excellent lodge

We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The lodge was warm and welcoming and offered everything that we needed. Lovely views and being so close to the beach were perfect for us together with a great area to tour around, we fully intend to return here before too long.

Stunning Location

Stayed 1 night at this beautiful location, having the lodge on the beachfront was lovely especially since the weather was sunny, also woke up to a deer running on the beach! Couple negatives was there was no extra toilet roll, no towels provided & wasn’t impressed with general cleanliness, found hairs on the bedding & overall the lodge is a bit run down.

Absolutely perfect!!!

Booked for just a few nights . It was absolutely beautiful location and the lodge is just perfect. Spotless, spacious and so so quite. Wanted to stay longer to be honest. Went with my husband,4 month old daughter and our two dogs who by the way had a blast of a time.if you want to just relax by the beach this is definitely your place to stay Communication was spot on roo ,very easy to get in touch of needed Definitely recommend a 10/10 here Thank you for an amazing few nights stay

The lodge was well equipped and had everything we needed to enjoy our week away. The location is amazing. Very peaceful and a great place to recharge. Great beachfront position made dog walks a joy while we watched seals and dolphins playing in the bay. Perfect location for exploring the Galloway coast

Gorgeous views great lodge

This is an excellebt plot with enclosed garden, great with dogs and your own gate onto the beach. The views are stunning when the tide is in you are just several steps from getting into the sea, which is surprisingly blue and warmed up quickly on a sunny day. People were swimming in it in May although i think i would have wanted a short sleeved wet suit before making thd plunge. Lodge itself great, very well appointed...if going with dogs make sure to take towels as cream carpet a bit concerning with mucky paws. Great pub and shops within a 5 minute drive or approx 45 min walk. Overall hope to return soon and recommended to friends. Overall lovely

Spend 3 beautiful sunny days in lodge, had everything we needed, beds really comfortable, views stunning , wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would love to to return, 5 minutes drive to Ship Inn selling lovely food and local shop has everything you need, lovely loop walk from lodge to Drummore via coastal path back onto country road to lodge, loved it
