Rug in the 2nd floor smelled overwhelmingly disgusting of old cigarettes. This gross odor seeped into our room. I mentioned it to the desk clerk downstairs. He pretended to call maintenance, but nothing was attempted. There was a sign in the lobby that said, “cleaning only happens every other day. The pool was full of mold growing on the bottom, the warming bin in the breakfast room was filthy from the day. The next morning it was more filthy, could have been wiped/cleaned throughout the morning.

The room was dated and a bit dusty. The breakfast was not good. The hot food was not warm. I understand the food was complimentary, but quality and selction was really lacking. I have atayed in Many Hampton Inns and this was one I wouldn't come back to when there are different choiices in the area. They also should cleen the pool. The bottom was so dirty.
