Recently refurbished to a high standard Struan Thie Barn is set in its own grounds with ample parking for two cars/bikes. The Sulby River runs adjacent to the property and there is an extensive secluded private meadow that can be enjoyed by guests. The Barn is located within 1-1.5 miles of two local pubs with restaurant facilities and one has a convenience shop.
Numerous scenic/historic attractions and many outdoor activities such as walking, horse riding, kayaking and cycling are within easy reach. The Isle of Man has the highest concentration of official dark sky sites within the British Isles and the property is perfectly situated for star gazing being well away from any light pollution.
The nearest large town is Ramsey, but Douglas is only a 25 minute drive away. Sulby Valley itself is a very tranquil place with Tholt-y-Will glen located nearby, one of the islands national glens and the only one located within the mountainous uplands of the Isle of Man.
