We booked and paid for our room two days in advance. However, at check-in, we were asked to pay an additional $200 as a deposit. The front desk staff claimed it was mentioned in the booking details, but we double-checked our Expedia confirmation and found no mention of it. Since we had already paid for our accommodation (2 nights), we didn’t have much choice and ended up paying the deposit using my credit card.
At checkout, we were told the deposit would be refunded within 3–4 days. While this was frustrating, the rest of our stay was smooth — the hotel was clean and well-maintained, and there were plenty of fast food options just a short 2–3 minute drive away.
Would recommend the hotel for its cleanliness and location, but wish the deposit policy was more transparent at the time of booking.
