Located in historic Valle Crucis, we are within 30 minutes or less of the area's popular attractions including Banner Elk, Boone, Blowing Rock, Appalachian State University, Beech and Sugar Mountains, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, and countless outdoor adventures! At Helen's House, you can expect to find all of the special touches that make any house a home, including decor to celebrate the changing seasons and holidays throughout the year and ample indoor and outdoor spaces for having fun or relaxing.

This was a very comfy space with plenty of room for our group! It was clean, cozy, and a joy to stay in. We easily drove to skiing at beech mountain from this as our home base!

Cozy mountain getaway

This is one of the cleanest homes we’ve rented, kitchen and bathrooms are spotless. Appliances and kitchen stuff are all clean and well-organized. The living spaces are very cozy, esp with the fireplace on. It made up for the rainy nights so we cannot use the firepit. Mast Gen store is nearby and was very pleasant and interesting. Highly recommended for families with pets
