Enjoy relaxing days on the large terrace with good garden furniture and barbecue or try your luck at fishing. Short distance to the boat and a shed for cleaning and filleting the fish. A boat can be hired and the fjord is sheltered and windless.



There is good salmon fishing in the area. Good fishing opportunities in rivers and fresh water in the area including Suldalslågen and Vikedalselva are a car journey away. Several good hiking opportunities nearby with Grytenuten as the most spectacular mountain hike with views of Folgefonna, Melderskinn and all the way to Stavanger, 360 degree binoculars at the top. The supermarket in Vatlandsvågen guest harbour is within walking distance. 30 minutes drive to Sand with shops, restaurants and golf course. Or drive to the small town of Sauda, 45 min. There are outdoor swimming pools all year round and alpine and cross-country skiing in winter. Day trips to Stavanger, Preikestolen, Haugesund and Hardanger via national tourist routes to Røldal.



Note: Steep gravel road up to the house, which means that you must have four-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive on the car to be able to drive up to the house.
