This inviting cottage awaits its guests in a wonderful location in the with magnificent views of mountains and fjords. It was built in 1929 and used to be the farmhouse of this former farm. The original style of the house has been preserved, but here you will enjoy all modern necessities such as internet, dishwasher and TV. The cozy interior will make you feel right at home here.



Here you can relax on long evenings by the fireplace overlooking the fjord or take wonderful long walks in the mountains. You will find good fishing opportunities both in the Tyssefjord and further out. A boat with motor can be rented from the landlord. You will spend your vacation in a child-friendly area with little traffic and some goats, chickens and cats that like to get some attention.



It is only a short drive to the nearest grocery store and town of Sand. Visit Sandsfossen where you will find good fishing opportunities. For salmon fishing, Suldalslågen and Vikedalselva are recommended. Also make day trips to Preikestolen, Lysefjord and Stavanger.
