Gympie Terrace meanders along the Noosa River, a laid back bustling area with coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques. It’s an area where you’ll find many locals taking their morning or early evening exercise and then having coffee or a drink with friends.

For tourists it’s a great spot to stroll along and take in the beautiful Noosa River and watch people, exercising, playing tennis, fishing, boats sailing past, people kayakaing or partaking in one of the many water activities available on the river. Or you can pick up a tour to The Everglades, or Fraser Island.

You can hire a boat, a kayak, a jet ski and make the most of the beautiful Noosa weather and enjoy your day on the river. Whether it be boating and fishing at the Spit end before you reach the ocean, or relaxing in the calmer waters up near the islands where you can watch the local wildlife.

After your activity you can sit in one of the many al fresco cafes and restaurants and watch the world go by, or bring a picnic and sit at one of the shaded benches. Alternatively fire up one of the many BBQs dotted along the shoreline.
