Clean room, awesome view. We were on the 12th floor on the very top. Great security for entry and lifts and parking. Excellent location. Beds were comfortable. It was a nice place, you can tell it’s older but still great.

The Mandolin is situated directly opposite the Alexandra Headland Surf club. We had a front facing apartment and there is a lot of road noise, especially in the evening. Boys and their loud toys! The Surf club would start cleaning around 5am and it did not matter if it was rubbish removal or beer keg change over, it was noisy with no thought for visitors sleeping. Overall it was great as the Mandolin has great facilities for kids and adults. Pools were clean but the spa could do with a scum skim every so often. Will we stay there again? Not really sure.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Family Stay! We had such a wonderful stay at this resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful — they really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The ocean views were absolutely breathtaking, and we loved waking up to the sound of the waves each morning. The resort itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, with plenty of space to relax and unwind. Our toddler especially loved the kids’ pool — it was the perfect size and so well designed for little ones. The whole family had such a relaxing and enjoyable time, and we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend for families looking for a clean, comfortable, and fun coastal getaway! 🌊💙

Immaculately clean and everything worked. Great views and plenty of eateries within walking distance. Very comfortable beds with plenty of pillows and cushions. Can recommend Mandolin without hesitation and look forward to staying for longer next time.

Apartment was older but clean and comfortable. Beds were good and the facilities on site were great. Convenient to the beach, surf club and dining. Fair bit of traffic noise and light from the Surf Club signs coming into the apartment was a little intrusive. Staff were helpful and friendly. Overall pretty good value.

Our room offered premium water front views from the 11th floor. The unit had everything we required even a coffee machine, it was recently updated so it was fresh, clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and we were super convenient to everything close by, and the parking was a bonus! The resort facilities were amazing and the heated pool was a favorite. We will definitely be returning.

The property location is catch 22, a very quick walk to the beach but right across from the surf club that gets rowdy on Fri and Sat nights, wasn't the best for our kiddos who are a bit more sensitive to noise. Our recliner lounge didnt recline and would connect so the 3 seater kept sepeating. great food options around and within walking distance, nice views. decent parking

Our apartment was very tired and rundown. Definately in need of a refurbish. My friend who stayed had lovely apartments which had new kitchens, bathrooms and furniture. We definately drew the the short straw. Oven didn't work and kitchen full of ants, certainly not ideal. The view was amazing though.
