About this property

Soundhaven 4: Noosa Parade Value

Summary:

In a small complex of just four, this two bedroom apartment is in a great position, about 600m from Hastings Street. Situated directly behind Hastings Street is the river suburb of Noosa Sound. As its name suggests, it is a waterfront community situated on the Noosa River. The network of streets in Noosa Sound have been created to maximise the waterfront potential of this area. There are many notable streets on Noosa Sound.

The Space:

Noosa Parade is the main tree-lined avenue running all the way from Hastings Street to Noosaville. It features several hundred metres of prime deep waterfront property not found anywhere else in Noosa. As a result the homes and apartments along this stretch attact amongst the highest prices in Noosa. Another prominent street in Noosa Sound is Witta Circle - a residential island just behind Hastings Street and connected by a short bridge to Noosa Parade. Homes here also attract records prices as they have fantastic outlooks and are only 150m to the beach. The apartment has been refurbished and offers comfortable accommodation. Although pricing is at the budget end of our market the accommodation really does offer great value for money, given the superb location of this first floor apartment. Visitors to Noosa love to swim at Noosa Main Beach, surf the Noosa World Surfing Reserve, walk the Noosa National Park’s stunning forest and coastal trails or picnic as the sun sets over the hinterland behind the river mouth. Home to iconic Hastings Street, which is famous for its shopping and dining, Noosa’s main beach is lined with restaurants, cafes, bars and an eclectic array of boutiques, homeware stores, galleries, and surf stores.

Noosa Junction or as it is affectionately known by locals, ‘The Junga’ is a buzzing little village just over the hill from Hastings Street, ‘The Junga’ is home to a wonderful world of bars, restaurants, live music, coffee shops, fashion boutiques, laneways, night markets, street art and photo galleries.

With the Noosa River winding through its heart and river hire businesses dotted along its 2km of grassy foreshore, Noosaville is a lively centre of aquatic activities including swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing and jet skiing. Restaurants, cafes and bars on both Gympie Terrace and Thomas Street, many with stunning views of the Noosa River, serve up tastes from around the world as well as contemporary Australian fare that cater to all tastes and budgets. Shopping is also well catered for in Noosaville with an excellent range of boutiques retailing everything from shoes and beachwear to surfboards and clothes for any occasion.

Noosa ferry’s custom-built classic riverboats cruise between Hastings Street, Noosaville and Tewantin (Noosa Marina) with seven stops along the Noosa River with a one-way trip taking about 40 minutes.

Tewantin is a quiet, village-style suburb situated along the Noosa River from Noosaville which features a pedestrian-friendly main street renowned for its striking Poinciana trees showcasing vibrant orange-red flowers during the summer months. Originally established as a timber town and serving as the river port for the Noosa region, Tewantin is home to the vehicular ferry connecting to Noosa’s North Shore and Fraser Island, as well as the Noosa Marina, a hub for riverfront shops and restaurants, and host to weekly craft and produce markets.

Inland from Noosa and popular for day trips is the Hinterland where green valleys are dotted with cafes, galleries, vintage stores, markets and historic pubs. Known for their incredible natural beauty, the Noosa Hinterland is comprised of country towns including Eumundi, Cooroy, Pomona, Kin Kin, Cooran and is also home to the Noosa Everglades. One of only two everglades’ systems on Earth, the Noosa Everglades is a 60km stretch of pristine waters, magnificent flora and fauna and narrow waterways.

Heading south, locals and visitors alike love Peregian Beach for its laidback and chilled beachy vibe and its village square which is home to boutique stores, a host of restaurants, cafes and takeaways set under cool shady trees and its makers’ market held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday morning of each month.

Handy & Convenient Location

We didnt realise the road was so busy but became used to it. The washer, dishwasher and shower head needed replacing in our stay but was done very promptly thankyou:) The owners could look at replacing things like frypan some pots etc. The broom & handle were old & we did a patch job. Most important the balcony door has a gap of 1 centimetre at the top that needs looking at. Beach umbrella would be handy. Overall pretty happy as a base.
