Lovely location, close to the beach and plenty of options for eating out. An older, comfy apartment with a glimpse of ocean from the balcony. Onsite parking was easy to access and very secure.

Wet carpet in one of the bedrooms, son highly allergic to dust mites, he was so unwell due to smell of the wet carpet and dust around the room. Kids spend most time in main bedroom due to smell.

Apartment in need of some TLC

The photos make the apartment appear cleaner and more up-to-date than reality. All doors had difficulty closing or would not close, especially the balcony sliding door which did not lock properly (security risk to visitors). There is a very loud dehumidifier in the second bedroom with a 'do not touch' sign, however the noise of the device makes it very hard to sleep at night. There was stained linen in the wardrobe and insufficient supply of warm bedding. While QLD is usually warm, you would expect to use a blanket at night which was in short supply. For a beachside location, suggest a supply of beach towels in addition to the bathroom towels.
