It was hard to open the sliding door onto the balcony to get some fresh air. The exercise bike in the gym was checked but was not operating. It had a lovely view of bamboo and ferns from the apartment we had. Great proximity to shops and good restaurants/cafes which stayed open late unlike the Southern Highlands in many cafes.

Not Quite What We Expected We were really looking forward to our stay at the Adina in Coogee, but unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to expectations. Communication between staff seemed to be lacking, and when we brought up a few concerns about the room, the responses felt a bit dismissive, as though there wasn’t much care taken to address them. For the price, we were hoping for a more comfortable and well-maintained space. Our room had a very limited view, and the balcony was essentially unusable, taken up entirely by the air conditioning unit. The room itself felt quite dark and a bit tired, and during our week-long stay, the sheets were only changed once. One of the more frustrating issues was the shower, which kept flooding—something that became a daily inconvenience. While the location is great, overall the experience left us feeling underwhelmed.

The Adina property at Coogee beach is comfortable, well equipped, and in an ideal location. The staff are friendly. There are places to eat, a grocery store across the street and the beach is within a five minute walk. It was a delight staying at the Adina Coogee Beach

The property is located on the Main Street in Coogee and 400 Mts from the beach. Lots of cafes and restaurants around the area. Very polite staff and clean rooms.

Short walk to the beach and restaurants. If you book a one bedroom apartament, which show accommodation for 3 people, they will put a rollaway bed in the living room which was a nuisance for us. The air coming out of AC had an unpleasant odour so had to open the balcony door which was not very eco friendly. Otherwise a decent stay.

Coogee best location in Syney for a family

Upon arriving late evening we were not happy to have to pay an addional fee of 50 dollars a day for parking our car. ( We found out the next day parking was available close by for free) Upon entering the apartment as a party of 5 only enough sleeping for 4 people. The hotel receptionist explained this to be an ongoing issue with Hotels.com selling the rooms incorrectly. She provided us with several duvets so one of our party had to make a bed up on the floor each evening.( the 2 seater sofa was not long enough) after coming to terms wih these 2 issues everything was good . Very clean great staff loved the indoor pool good location on a street with every type of food available & a short walk to the best beach in Sydney(My opinion).Easy access to the whole of Sydney (tip get an Opel card instead of paying on your cc as they have daily caps so you can hop on & off buses lite rail & ferries all day)

We stayed here for a few nights. When I was checking in, they mentioned there was a network outage so they were using special key cards. Our room key did not work for the 3 days we were there and had to get someone from reception to open our room door every time we wanted to get back in to our room. There was quite a few small bugs (ants, small flys) in the room as the windows don’t have fly screen (maybe that’s just a Western Australian thing). The car park is very tight and annoying to get in to the fact you have to call reception every time you want to be let in. Good location as there’s a Woolies metro across the road, and the beach is one block away.

Disappointing

Location was close to the beach, but other than that property is disappointing. Rooms were smaller than expected, aircons were filthy and made the room smell, pool was very dated and had rubbish everywhere. Saw a cockroach in the pool area and my kitchen. Also booked through hotels.com and was supposed to receive a welcome bottle of wine which we didn't receive. Would not recommend.
