A hidden treasure tucked away on a quiet, safe street. The room was beautifully appointed. Close and convenient to cafes, restaurants and public transport. I think I've found my business home away from home.

Nice hotel located a great area. Close to lots of shops, restaurants, public transport and just a few stops from the city. Very comfortable stay, bed is soft and comfortable. Checkin in was super easy and uses codes which I really liked. staff are always available if you need anything. I would definitely stay again.

Great location

A warm welcome from the staff with a great location. The room had a ceiling fan but no air-con, and the private toilet was adjacent to the shared bathroom which could be overheard quite easily. The carpets were old and stained, but overall the room felt clean and comfortable. We would stay again.

My partner and I had a very disappointing stay at Bayswater Boutique Lodge. The entry key pads are very user unfriendly so access to our room was always a bit of a challenge. The shared bathroom was tiny and difficult to use, particularly for me being quite tall. The fans not very successful at keeping the room at a reasonable temperature at night, and no air conditioning so sleep was difficult. No staff on premesis so contact was through email and text with Donia the manager (working remotely I assume). She was able to assist on some issues, such as difficulties with the initial booking, but it would be helpful to have someone around for ongoing matters. Summing up, it was not a good stay, and it's unlikely I'll be back. My partner Liz will probably also have some comments to make

The property would benefit if they could organise a parking deal with the local parking bay on Bayswater drive. After a 4 night stay we paid $395 for parking, I feel this is extravagant and it would make me question staying in the area again. The property itself was lovely, tidy, nice furnishings, comfy bed. Would definitely recommend if you don’t mind the parking situation.

- there is no air conditioning so I died everyday. The fan didn't really do much and there was no fly screen in the windows - The rooms aren't sound proof. I was hearing footsteps on the stairs every single time a person walked them - The bathrooms are clean - There were no elevators to the upper floors so you have to carry your own luggage - The WORST lock in the main door. The pin pad did not respond to your finger when your input the number so most times you're stuck outside pinning in the number - Sometimes the main door is not closed properly which is unsafe as there is limited reception and there is a place to leave your luggage near the stairs and it is unsupervised - The place to leave your luggage is literally just next to the staircase and is hidden by a portable divider

While the area around the lodge isn’t the safest at night the lodge itself felt very safe with all PIN codes instead of keys. The room was clean and more spacious than I thought, but the shared bathroom was tiny. For the price, the room was excellent and location wise is close to a train station which then takes you all over Sydney. Recommended if you don’t mind sharing a small bathroom !!

Sweaty in Kings Cross

A well maintained and renovated heritage property. Lack of air conditioning was fairly severe in the heat of December - ventilation is unimproved beyond a single window and fans were not very effective. We purchased an extension cord ourselves to get the floor base fan over by the window.

The place is like home away from home. Room is nice, bed is comfy. Very convenient location. Train station (Kings Cross Station is only 5 minutes by foot). If you commute by bus from CBD, the stop is literally few steps away from the hotel. I would see myself coming back to stay.
