The disappointment with our stay was with housekeeping. It was unbelievable that the state of our room was considered clean and tidy. The beds were not made properly; it looked like a 5-year-old did it. There were dirty, used coffee cups and towels left in the room. We immediately went and saw the duty manager in reception after sending the day out. He was so embarrassed and apologetic and gave us a new room. I told him he would see housekeeping immediately, and this shouldn't happen again. The next day, we left for another city excursion for the day and came back to the same thing. Again, approached the duty manager, sent housekeeping up, spoke to the housekeeper, and they said they were understaffed, and it wasn’t housekeeping that made up the room, but a cleaning maid who doesn't service rooms. Very disappointed. There's a service guarantee note left on the beds; your room should be the same each day, as if you first checked in. This wasn't the case.

Not worth the money

Not good at all. Checked in went well but when entering room I found the bedside coffee table had stains all over it. After a long haul flight all I wanted to do was watch TV in bed. Wasn’t possible. TV didn’t work and when I called to report it I was told maintenance had left for the night. Then decided to order some room service and the wrong item was delivered.

Even though we were only there for one night it really was a lovely stay, the staff were excellent and very helpful, rooms were very nice and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing, and the lovely staff member proactively offered a discount, really went extra mile. Made this one of our nicest hotel holiday stays..

Justin who checked us in was fantastic! Room was great, as was dining options and breakfast. Gym small but does the job. Only downside was lack of parking. Lots of renovation materials taking up a lot of the parking spaces. Overall, excellent experience.
