It doesn’t feel like a Four Seasons. The hotel conditions are not up-kept to the four seasons standard, but it’s also a reasonable price for a four seasons. The rooms are small not well ventilated and humid…the hotel feels and looks old and musty. Good bed, linens and feather pillows. Good gym, but dirty. The use the hotel for large cruise ship groups, so it’s busy. Good area near the opera and tourist attractions.

Fantastic view in the full harbor view rooms The service was terrific and it was modern and clean. It has a great location and you could walk everywhere. For the price the rooms and especially the bathroom were a little small. The only other complaint was the mattress. It wasn’t comfortable and was raised in the middle and went down toward the edges. Without these couple issues it would be 5 star.

Luxury city break

The Four Seasons Hotel on George St, Sydney is excellent for location, comfort, luxury and service. We used the hotel spa and facilities before check in, and our room was ready early which was a bonus. The room was beautifully renovated- nice decor, very comfy bed and luxurious soft white linen, and west facing view toward the harbour bridge. The hotel service was very efficient and we received a small treat and message for the birthday being celebrated. Highly recommend FS for a luxury city break.

Absolutely fantastic staff and hotel

Arrived from a cruise, 300 metres walk and absolutely drenched due to torrential rain. Bags collected, towel and shower offered to dry out. Amazing service. Room was fantastic and this hotel was WAY WAY WAY better than the horrific stay in the Sydney Harbour Hotel two weeks previously. I cancelled my further stay at the Sydney Harbour Hotel and booked this one and am SO pleased I did. Have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will definately stay here next time I am in Sydney.
