We decided on the Sebel Martin Place due to its location: 2 minute walk to Martin Place station and Metro. 2 minute walk to the Theatre Royal. 3 minute walk to Westfield and the restaurants. Very comfortable and we would recommend it highly.

Do not select the breakfast included option under any circumstances. It's expensive and truly terrible. You end up with a laminated little voucher which provide highly limited options for breakfast and a couple of cafes and limiting it to one small coffee, a cold drink and a choice of very basic mains. The weekend option was in a tiny hole in the wall place with metal chairs and bare tables and a stream of tradies in high vis stopping by in noisy trucks. Awful. Just awful.

House cleaning could have been better. Incontinence with cleaning of room. I stayed for 3 nights & towels were changed once & dirty towels were left in room, toilet was cleaned once. Garbage was taken out everyday, there was dishwashing liquid to was my cup but nothing to clean it with. In house robes could have been ironed they looked liked they had just been taken off. My room was great size for myself but i was glad my husband didn't join me on this trip.

Would stay here again

Hotel was in exceptionally quiet location in the legal precinct around the corner from Martin Place. Several underground stations and bus stops were within a few minutes walk. If coming by airport rail get off at St James station. My only complaint was that water from the washbasin drained rather noisily via the shower outlet.

Room was quite small. Didn’t clean the carpet which was full of stains plus bits that needed hoovering up. Bathroom floor needed a clean. Forgot to service the room on day, had to remind them at 5 pm. Thought it was rather expensive for lack of facilities. Although a microwave was provided they didn’t expect you to use it given the small plates and lack of utensils!
