I had a very pleasant stay at the YEHS Hotel Sydney Harbour Suites. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I loved using the kitchenette and the washer & dryer, which were put to good use. The hotel staff are professional, articulate and very friendly. They were always available to help and went out of their way to assist me when needed and gave good advice. Thank you to Richmond, who is warm and very helpful and made my time at the hotel great. I would most definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Sydney and it is located centrally to public transportation, good restaurants and many venues. Loved it!

The Hotel was in a very convenient location being very close walking distance to Darling Harbour and the city centre, however the traffic noise due to the lack of double glazing and also being close to a main highway spoiled an otherwise great stay.

I checked into this hotel, and within an hour I checked out. The hotel is smelly, grubby, very worn and tired. The door to my room was unlocked and open. The walls are dirty. I did not feel comfortable at all. When I entered the room there was a hairdryer on the counter that had just been ripped out of the wall. Travelling as a single woman, I would never stay at a YEHSS hotel again.

There was no toilet paper or soap when I checked in, i had to ask the front desk for hair conditioner as well, stains on the mattress and topper and a mask was left under the couch in the room. Seen mould in shower. Disappointed.

The door hinges in the rooms are terrible. I stayed on Level 5, and other guests were constantly slamming their doors at night while we were trying to sleep.

Nice location but run down property

The location is good close to many attractions. The property is kind of run down and needs a major face lift to make it better. The washer dryer in our suite had mold and smelled really bad. We were scared to use it. Taxi’s don't stop right in front of the main door as the hotel is located at the corner with traffic lights. They drop and pick you 20-30 mts before. It was raining hard when we checked out and had to walk in rain to get to the cab to load our bags and get in the UBER. The staff at the reception were nice and gave us options for many things. We got a large discount for buying the hop on hop off bus tour in Sydney from the front desk.

Pleasant but inexperienced staff. Coffee marks left on the kitchen bench top, bathroom old with leaky shower connection. Very outdated furnishings, marks all over walls, old carpet. I extended my stay by one night, yet received 2 phone calls from 2 different staff asking us to checkout the day prior. Very convenient location, but needs updating to match price.

Staff were extremely kind. I stayed here on my birthday and they made it feel so special. I was given a bottle of wine and chocolates upon check in. The location was great and only a 15min walk to get to Paddy’s market, both crown and star casino, Hyde park and a 5 min walk to the restaurants on the water. Thank you to the staff, you guys are a 10/10

This hotel is located in a brilliant position, close to Darling Harbour in one direction and the QVB building and light rail, Town Hall in another direction. The cafe located next door served wonderful coffee!

I got an upgrade room which offers us five beds instead of a queen, I was travelling with my partner. I feel like the upgrade was not needed. Anyway, the room is not like it’s advertised, needs maintenance. There was no hand wash in my room, was disappointed with the booking. However, the staff are very nice and helpful.
