Venturing further south, about 30 km away, you will find beautiful untouched and wild beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Wildlife Oasis, and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, a must-see is the Greek Theatre of Siracusa and the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi museum, and also the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural beauties in addition to its scenic views. Don't miss Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi.
