Family Villa By The Beach With a Big Garden, Sea Views and Private Parking

This is a spacious, fully air-conditioned family home that is ideal for two couples and up to two kids, just across the road from Fontane Bianche's sandy beaches. It's equipped for year round living with all the home comforts, but is especially idyllic in the Summer months. French doors flood the kitchen and dining room with natural light, providing sea views over the patio and lawn. The kitchen has a dishwasher and microwave oven in addition to gas hobs and a full size electric oven. There are two double bedrooms that face the back garden, plus a single room which accommodates two single beds. Two bathrooms have showers, the third has a bathtub. The study contains a desk, a small sofa and plenty of books to browse. The sitting room has a comfortable sofa and armchair, a flat screen television and a modern log fireplace that powers the central heating.
Outside, the patio is equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture and awnings for shade in the summer season. A light sea breeze makes it ideal for outdoor dining.
Kids love the large garden which has lemon, orange and olive trees. The barbecue has a large marble worktop and sink.
A separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer in the back garden has an extra shower, handy after a day at the beach.
There is private parking for three cars in front of the house.

I cannot say enough good things about this property. I just spent a week here with my family (myself, my husband, and our four young children), and it is truly the ideal place for a family to stay. From the proximity to the lovely beach (with its beach bar serving up excellent granitas and Aperol Spritzes), to the well-appointed kitchen, to the beautiful garden, patio, and view, to the thoughtful touches like a library of both excellent adult and children’s books, board games, crayons and coloring books—honestly, I could go on. Just book it and you won’t be sorry! (We also loved the pizza at the restaurant—La Capannina—down the street, and the proximity to Syracuse, Noto, Ragusa, and Modica, are additional pluses.) The owners are also very kind, helpful, and communicative.

Excellent large villa by the sea

Great location- 1 minute walk to the sandy beach & 20 min to Syracuse or Noto. Huge villa with well appointed bedrooms. Lovely garden. Great outhouse shower to get rid of the sand after beach time. Quiet as well. Well equipped kitchen

Wonderful house in Sicily

A lovely property, and very spacious. Everything we needed, and even a dryer. AC was efficient and the large kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. Easy walk to the beach across the street. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Very helpful host

Lucia was always very quick at answering all our questions from the time of booking and anything else during our stay. The house is very nicely divided with a very large kitchen well stocked with all you need for cooking. We ate our breakfast on the terrace every morning just off the kitchen looking at the ocean. The beach is a 5 minute walk. Beautiful property with fruit trees and various herbs. Large parking area for two and even 3 vehicles if need be.

Great base for family holiday.

A spacious, comfortable house with large garden, easy parking and a short walk to sandy beach. Having a furnished shaded terrace across the length of the house is a real asset. We appreciated the supplies of basic items in the kitchen and the good communication with the hosts.

Great house, great location

We had a fantastic time in Sicily and in this house! Peter gave us all the information we needed prior to our trip. This house is very spacious, well equipped, clean and in a great location. We would highly recommend it to anyone who wish to visit the East side of Sicily. There is a little beach just across the road, 2 mins walk which was ideal for us.

Big and nice house with beautiful garden

Nice and clean house with a big and beautiful garden with seaview. Convenient position if you want to visit the south east Sicily. Close to Siracusa, Ragusa, Modica and Noto. A few minutes walk to 2 small beaches. There is a small supermarket nearby. Nice and helpful host.

The place was clean and tidy also very spacious and comfortable.

We enjoyed the situation of the villa being just across the road from the beach with good safe swimming and a restaurant. The garden was lovely and we enjoyed the lemons from the tree. There was a good bread shop just up the road and a useful grocery store. It was only 20 minutes drive into Syracuse which is lovely.

Perfect!

We were at the villa for 7 days and it was wonderful, it was equipped with everything you could need. We woke up every morning and opened the shutters to amazing views of the sea. The beach is literally on your door step and there is a fab restaurant there called La Malafemmina there. Everything is spot on and recommend this villa.

Amazing vacation!!!

We stayed at the Villa for two weeks with our 4 children. We arrived the last week of July. The property was even better then described! Huge enclosed garden, a big terrace with a sea view, 3 big bedrooms, 3 big bathrooms. A lot of space! The kitchen was really big and full equipped and barbecue outside. The separate washing room. A lot of books for adults and children and toys for the children. To minutes walk to a sandy beach and a local supermarket. 5 minutes walk to a local bakery. So we always had fresh bagels for breakfast. The bigger supermarket was just 10-15 min by car in Avola. Avola center was really nice. We visited Siracusa , Ortigia, Ragusa and mount Etna. Highly recommended. Siracusa was just 20 minutes away by car. Excellent weather through the whole stay. Excellent service and welcome. Peter was really helpful and responded right away to any questions we had through the whole stay. We had an amazing vacation and already planning to come back next year!!!

Brilliant Villa with sea views and wonderful garden

Spacious Villa fully equipped with modern kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine. Just four minutes walk to a beautiful sandy beach. We enjoyed days that were spent on local beaches as well as driving to nearby Avola for good value shops and some excellent restaurants. We also traveled further on some days visiting majestic Noto, Scicli, and Siracuse. We also did a longer trip to experience the narrow gauge railway that runs around Mt Etna. However, nothing beats sitting on the terrace of the Villa on a bright sunny day, with a cold drink before and after a visit to the two local beaches. Fabulous, except if it rains for several days.

A great week and a wonderful villa!

We enjoyed a very relaxing week in this extremely spacious yet comfortable villa which more than lived up to our expectations. While the photographs are accurate, they somehow don't reflect the size and quality of this property. The villa was clean and well maintained and had all the equipment we needed. Wifi worked well the entire week and the DVD player proved a welcome bonus when the weather was stormy. The beautiful garden is large, enclosed and well kept, and the terrace has plenty of room for eating and relaxing. The road at the front of the villa is noisy but did not spoil our time outside. The beach is a short walk away and we were ideally situated for all of the locations we had planned to visit. Owner Peter promptly responded to our query before booking and local representative Carmen gave us a warm welcome and a detailed tour of the villa on arrival.

A great stay

We had a great stay at the Villa in Fontane Bianche! The house is very comfortable, larger than we had hoped, with lots of privacy for two couples. The terrace, garden and view are beautiful, we really enjoyed it. The pictures on the site are very realistic but the house is even better than we had imagined. We enjoyed every minute there and wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed during the high summer days, and even then we could enjoy the beach in front of the house and visit many places in the region (Siracusa, Noto, Modica, Ragusa) without traffic jam! Carmen was very nice in welcoming us to the house, always was very attentive and available.

What a holiday!!

We have had an absolutely wonderful family vacation on Sicily with this house as our center – 5 adults and a toddler – the house and garden was more than we could ever dream about (the pictures does not do the house justice) – a spacious house with 3 bed rooms, 3 bath rooms, a huge kitchen and the terrace with a view to the green garden and the sea – we spend most part of the two weeks here. Just a short walk to the sea and sandy beaches – perfect for a quiet morning and evening swim, both for children and adults to enjoy. We would like to keep the house a secret, but we do hope more will enjoy this perfect house in perfect surroundings. You need to have a car to reach Syracuse and the major cities - and also to shop for groceries - however there are small supermarkets and a pharmacy nearby. The host Peter Jinks has been extremely helpful and has answered all questions and sorted the minor things we have had with the house within few hours. Furthermore, we were warmly welcomed by Carmen who gave us a good introduction to the house. We will be back to experience more of Sicily, the landscape, the super friendly inhabitants, the beaches, the cities and atmosphere. To sum up: We can highly recommend this house – but keep it a secret between us  The Due Family - Denmark

Die Villa ist sehr gut eingerichtet, wir haben den Blick von der Terrasse auf das Meer genossen. Durch die Nähe zum Strand konnten wir merhmals täglich baden gehen und danach im Garten auf der Liege lesen. Im 100 m entfernten Supermarkt bekommt man alles, was nötig ist. Weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im benachbarten Casssibile oder in Syrakus.Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Tolles Haus direkt am Meer

Wir haben den Aufenthalt mit unseren beiden Töchtern sehr genossen. Das Haus ist geräumig, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Man kann die Fenster sehr gut mit Holzläden abdunkeln, so dass es im Haus immer angenehm kühl bleibt. Der Garten ist besonders für Kinder toll, mit einem wunderbaren Blick aufs Meer. Der Strand ist nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt und sehr ruhig. Sehr wenige Touristen, wir waren aber auch in der Nebensaison da. Es gibt um die Ecke ein schönes Café und einen Mini-Supermarkt mit frischem Brot, Wurst und Käse. Lucia war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor allem für Familien sehr zu empfehlen!

Perfect chillout close to a nice beach

Our family (mum, dad and our 4 year old) had a very relaxing stay at the house. It is very spacious with everything you need to spend a nice vacation. We really enjoyed it, especially sitting on both terraces with the seaview and the sound of the waves.

Somos un grupo de amigos que buscábamos una casa de base para visitar Sicilia. La casa está muy bien comunicada, al lado de siracusa y totalmente equipada. Es muy cómoda y con la playa al lado. Es ideal tanto para descansar como para turismo activo.

Great house, great host

Totally would stay here again. Especially well-suited if you’re traveling with younger kids. Lots of children’s books in Italian and English. Train set and toy cars were a highlight for my kids. Thanks for the excellent accommodations and communication!
