Breakfast seemed like something from Aldi/Lidl. Room was in poor condition, especially bathroom. Air conditioning could with updating, either cold or over heating. As a result we got very little sleep. Best thing going for this hotel was the pool.

Disappointing

Rooms need a refurb. Bad or non existent sound proofing between rooms. Woken early by staff with bags that were not mine. Broken plug in wash basin. No tea or coffee facilities in room and no free bottle of mineral water. Not what you expect of 4 star hotel.

Good break

No coffee in rooms. You do have a fridge. You are 2 minutes from the sea but no where to swim. Hotel pool is lovely but drinks are expensive. I would recommend a sort break here. PS the breakfast is lovely too.

Lovely room with balcony and sea view. Amazing swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely grounds. Easy to get into and back from Syracuse using the 105 bus. Walking distance to archeological museum and San Giovanni catacombs.

We loved the Villa Politi, a grand hotel with a very interesting history. The guest areas are spacious and the pool beautiful. The only concern we had, the dinner service was a little slow due to large tour groups dining, the staff were under pressure. We would have also appreciated tea/coffee making facilities in our room. We would definitely stay there again.
