stone maisonette with an excellent view of the Aegean Sea

A stone maisonette at approximately 5 km. from Hermoupolis (4,5 km normal country road from the port to Vari and 0,5 km cement road on to the house). With a wonderful south-eastern view to the Aegean sea and nice beaches at 5 to 10 minutes drive from the house, while the airport is about 3 km away. It is located at Amarantos, a quite wider area with very few houses, harmonically combining stone and wood elements in joyful earthly colors and artistic feeling.
The living areas of the house cover approximately 90 sq.m. in a lot of 2,5 stremmas, with a wide garden and verandas. The ground floor has its own entrance, it is a one-space area in two levels of approx. 60 sq.m., with one staircase leading to the top floor. Within the first level there's a duble sofa bed and a reclining chair (one comfortable single bed), a desk in a study area with a ceiling fan and a WC with shower. The second level consists of the sitting-room with a sofa-bed and another ceiling fan, a fireplace and a tv . The kitchen at the same level features a gas stove, (with its tanks outside the house for security reasons) and a table for four to five persons along with many necessary appliances. The internal stone staircase (children be careful!) leads to the top floor double-bed main bedroom, equipped with a ceiling fan and air-conditioning, with a bath-tub bathroom and two full view verandas. An external staircase leads to the one of them as a second entrance to the house. A small storing-room outside the house next to the ground floor entrance helps the laundry procedure and storage needs. The house is surrounded by courtyards.
Maps and every interesting information will be made available to our guests as regards the island's beaches, sight-seeings and special summer or season activities and performances.
We shall be available to accommodate our guests for anything they need. If requested we can provide them with interesting tips on the island.
We love cats and dogs loving cats! As we like pets, we use to feed about five beautiful stray-cats (who live and are fed outside the house), while we own a twelve-year old lovely female dog.It should be stressed that these cats being quite familiar with friendly dogs, our guests with a dog should be careful for the cats safety!
The house is located in a very peaceful and quite country side with beautiful country houses and a wonderful view. Nearby the house you can find a rather easy pathway leading to Hermoupolis at a one and half hour walk. The area is at about 1,5 km away from a local market place with super-market, pharmacy etc. and at 300 m away from a gas station. The closest coast is the village of Azolimnos (at 5 minutes drive), which combines a beautiful sea-side with several taverns with good food.
The house combines the countryside calmness with the easy access to the main town of Hermoupolis at at a distance of approx. 6 km. In case our guests wouldn't be interested in renting a car or a motorcycle, they have the alternative of a bus, stopping on the main road at a distance of 600 m. from the house. Relevant time-schedules and information shall be available by us.
