The hotel rooms are nice and new. However! Beware there is freight train across the street. It makes a lot of noise. Constantly. Ask for a room at the back of the hotel (not the front) the staff was nice enough to change my room bc I needed sleep!

The Auburn Holiday Inn Express is our preferred hotel in this area for it's location, cleanliness, and "new" feel. We've stayed here in the past and had another good stay this weekend. Breakfast was decent, and customer service was excellent at check-in. This location feels safe with ample parking. Train and highway nosie may be bothersome to some, and some may wish to know that there is no hot tub by the indoor pool. We will be back.
