Needs improvement

The area the apartment building was in was run down and so was the building itself. The apartment unit was fine for two; however, the couch was terribly stained and we had to cover it with sheets. Additionally, the water heater leaked over the toilet our whole stay (we had to put a pot on top of the toilet to catch the water), and the shower stall leaked. Though the owner was very pleasant he did not want to have the water heater fixed while we were there so we were left with the pot and a toilet that intermittently ran and wouldn't flush. On the positive side, the bed was large, the owner stocked snacks for us, and we went to sleep to the sound of the pounding surf each night. Additionally, we went to one of the restaurants the owner suggested and it was excellent! We ate there a couple times.

Meerblick fernab vom Touri-Trubel

Wo andere Urlauber einen kurzen Autostopp einlegen oder gleich ihr Wohnmobil parken, liegen Mesa del Mar und das Appartement von Antonio. Von Tacoronte aus geht es die steilen Serpentinen runter ans Meer, vom Appartement sind es nur wenige Meter bis zum Naturpool, der schwarze Sandstrand „Playa de Arena“ ist zu Fuß über einen kleinen Tunnel zu erreichen. Ein kleiner Supermarkt, eine Bar/Restaurant und eine Tauchschule säumen den Parkplatz vor der Unterkunft. Morgens liegt die Bucht noch im Schatten, abends kann man wunderbare Sonnenuntergänge genießen. Sehr herzlich und entspannt war der Empfang von Antonio. Tipps für Einkauf, Essengehen etc. gibt´s von ihm auf Wunsch auch per WhatsApp. Und ein erster Einkauf – inklusive Cava – stand auch schon im Kühlschrank. Top! Unser Fazit: Abgelegener Ort ohne Touri-Trubel, Mietauto ein Muss, Appartement sauber/gut ausgestattet, größere Einkäufe/Essengehen in der Nebensaison eher in Tacoronte. Und: Wer ganz genau hinsieht, entdeckt vielleicht ein beliebtes Postkartenmotiv mit Blick auf die Bucht, die steile Küste und den Teide.

Direkt am Meer - abseits vom Tourismus

Eine tolle Ferienwohnung direkt am Meer und abseits jeglichen Tourismus. Liebevoll eingerichtet mit Balkon/ Terrasse direkt zum Meer hin. Das Gebäude liegt jedoch unter einer Straße/Brücke und man hört ein "Rauschen" in der Wohnung wenn die (wenigen) Autos drüber fahren (stört aber nicht wirklich und geht im Meeresrauschen unter...) Genial in der Früh für sportliche: tolle Jogginstrecke direkt vor der Haustür am verlassenen Meeresstrand und Bademöglichkeiten - entweder am Strand, oder im Naturschwimmbecken direkt vor der Tür...

Super location !!!

Avons été accueillis comme des amis de longue date par Antonio. Vraiment super sympa. Il s'est mis en quatre pour nous informer sur ce qu'il y a à faire et à voir à Ténérife. Et aussi de bonnes adresses de restos. Et en plus il y avait plein de victuailles dans le frigo. Boissons, fruits frais, café et tous les ingrédients de base. Ce n'est pas souvent que cela arrive. A recommander.

Das App. entspricht den Beschreibungen und ist mit Allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Antonio ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sogar an eine Erstversorgung an Lebensmitteln hat er gedacht. Das Gebäude ist jedoch renovierungsbedürftig und an die Windgeräusche muss man sich erst gewöhnen. Dafür entschädigt aber der unbeschreibliche Blick aufs Meer und der meist nur von Einheimischen besuchte Strand. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war absolut ok.

Ruhiger Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen mit tollem Meerblick

Antonios Apartment ist ruhig - abseits des Touristenrummels anderenortes - in Mesa del Mar gelegen. Der Hauptort Tacoronte mit Supermärkten, Restaurants usw. ist nur mit dem Auto erreichbar, allerdings dauert die Fahrt nur wenige Minuten. Besonders empfehlenswert ist hier ein Besuch des lokalen Marktes am Wochenende. Für uns war der Standort optimal, da man sowohl im Anaga-Gebirge als auch in der Teide-Region relativ schnell zum Wandern ist. Das Apartment ist wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet und verfügt über einen tollen Meerblick vom vollverglasten Balkon. Die Ausstattung reicht von der Waschmaschine bis zum Spültuch (zudem war ein extra Bett für unser Baby vorbereitet). Bei unserer Ankunft war der Kühlschrank schon prall gefüllt und der Vermieter Antonio hat uns freundlich empfangen. Von außen sieht die Anlage nicht mehr ganz taufrisch aus, aber von innen ist alles top. Daher würden wir das Apartment auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Tacoronte klein, gemütlich, direkt am Meer

Die Angaben im Online-Inserat waren nicht übertrieben. Der Vermieter war sehr hilfsbereit und gab gute Tipps. Die Empfehlung des Restaurants "El Pole" in Tacoronte war super. Ein familienbetriebenes und typisch spanisches Restaurant. Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Man sollte der Aussenfassade nicht zu viel Beachtung schenken. Über den ersten Einkauf des Vermieters (Butter, Marmelade, Jamon, Saft, Madalenas, Wein, Sekt, Pasta, Mais, Thunfisch, Karotten, Sellerie und Rote Beete im Glas für Salat,Joghurt, Orangen, Bananen) haben wir uns riesig gefreut. WLan war immer verfügbar. Die Wohnung liegt direkt am Meer. Meeresrauschen ist somit garantiert. Auch kann man die Seele baumeln lassen, während man dem Meer zu schaut. Wenn man abends eine Tapa oder ein Glas Wein in einem "Restaurant" essen/trinken möchte, benötigt man das Auto. Links neben der Anlage gibt es einen kleinen schwarzen Sandstrand. Oberhalb gibt es einen kleinen Weg, der sich gut zum Joggen eignet. Auch kann man in Richtung El Pris etwas oberhalb des Meeres auf einem Weg laufen gehen. Ja, wir würden das Feriendomizil an Familie und Freunde weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank Domi für die tolle Zeit.

Die Ferienwohnung war super!

Genau wie auf den Bildern, sauber ordentlich und es war alles da was man braucht. In einem kleinen Ort gelegen sehr ruhig aber sehr schön. Der Vermieter war auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit, er hat uns super Restaurant Empfehlungen geben und auch super Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Der Kühlschrank war sogar mit dem notwendigsten gefüllt und auch Sachen wie Nudeln, Reis etc. waren vorhanden! Aufjedenfall sehr empfehlenswert!!!
