Great location

Garden Hotel is always a pleasant place to stay. It’s near some great restaurants and close to Taichung Park. It’s always clean and friendly!

Great spot in the centre of the city

I always enjoy staying at the Garden Hotel. Always friendly, clean, and professional, without extra fuss. I like that’s it’s in the center of a good food street as well.

Just Avoid Rooms at the Back

The hotel is very close to train station and within an easy walk of many shops and restaurants. It is new and clean. The one problem is that all the water pipes for the hotel seem to run through the paper thin walls of the room in which I stayed (at the rear of the building on the 5th floor). I was woken by screeching water pipes from the last person to shower at night and the first person to shower in the morning. A very noisy room, especially in the morning when many people are taking showers.

Location, location but disappointing accpmmodation

3 weeks and 10 different hotels around Taiwan. All have been pleasant, some great value, but this cost most and was disappointing. Staff were welcoming and location is close to rail station and some sights, but bedroom/bathroom were small, floors were not swept/cleaned,and there was no refrigerator. No breakfast included, not even a hotel restaurant! You also easily hear noises from adjacent rooms. Not good value for money. Disappointing ending to a visit to a lovely country with lovely people...

Great Find in Central Taichung

The hotel was clean, with friendly reception staff. The room was extremely comfortable, had everything I needed, and was quiet for sleeping. The hotel was centrally located in a great food zone with lots of diverse restaurants to choose from.

The location is near by the train station. It only takes five to ten minutes to get to the train station. There are a lot of bus station which lead to everywhere you may want to go.
