The Grand does have style. Very good breakfast. Good light-filled rooms with expansive views. Quiet park setting. Quite a walk to the nearest station. There is a free station shuttle every 30 minutes. I'll go back to the Grand in the future.

Amazing views during stay

We got a great deal for two night, superior room with West side balcony view of Taipei. The room was spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. The historical hotel is quite large and beautiful inside and out. Location is a bit far from downtown tourist areas but the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the MRT red line. We also had dinner at Yuan Yuan and cocktails at Meet bar. Service in both places was excellent. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Grandeur lodging although remote from downtown Taipei convenience. One night is adequate for the stay. Very disappointed with breakfast buffet. Not worth the price we paid and the staff rushed us to finish at 10 am when we just got our foods.
