Not recommend staying here

The only thing good about this place is its location. Bad reception service, the hotel changes rules on fly re: visitors. The bed is like sleeping on a rocks with uncomfortable pillows.

This hotel's location is excellent; it is in the heart of the old town and is therefore very convenient to everything nearby. It is quite noisy, though, so individuals who want solitude could find it difficult to stay here. The service is excellent, the cost is reasonable, and it's simple to get to, so overall it's a wonderful pick.

Satisfactory

I stayed in this hotel because it has a great location very close to the Longshan Temple and night market as well as the Bopiliao museum area. The hotel room itself is satisfactory for the low price. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I had a little trouble connecting to the internet from my room, but in the lobby area, one staff member helped me reconnect to one of three different internet sources they have on the floor. It's definitely not a five star hotel, but I would stay here again because I have no problem with the room or bed or bathroom and the location of the hotel is good for the Longshan Temple area. In getting to the hotel, it definitely helps if you use a map app on your phone to tell you how to get there by bus.

nice hotel close to city shopping

Ti Hwa hotel is in the heart of the city Taipei. It's close to shopping center, station,and street food just around the corner. there is also a night market just walk for 5 minutes from the hotel. it's good for a single traveller and very safe place to stay, police men working every night a long the way to the hotel.

Good low-cost hotel in Taipei

At first, we thought this place would be old and dirty. The colour theme is very 80s, and the building is quite old. Nevertheless, this hotel is still a good low-cost option (especially in Taipei) for you guys to consider! Good points - Hotel staff were very friendly, 24/7 service. - They have water dispenser - As this is a family-run hotel (their kids live there too), the security features are quite good despite being an old fashioned hotel - Fast and stable wifi - Room and furniture were clean, and they changed the towels every day. - 5 mins walk to Longshan MRT Station. 5 mins taxi ride to Ximending (or one MRT Stop).
