So many ants everywhere, bathroom is extremely old and shower curtain hasn't been replaced in what seems like years, the rings are rusted and old. Bathroom fixtures require refurbishment. Positives: somewhat reasonable pricing, but looks to be very good value if you book not too far in advance (check Google), the staff are helpful and the foyer is nice and clean, luggage hold service available and lift access.

We booked and confirmed a room for 3 adults at this hotel. When we arrived, we were given a small room with one small double bed. We had to ask for another mattress. They supplied a floor mattress that we had to pay for. Otherwise, the staff were kind and helpful: the carpet was dirty; there was somewhat warm water but no hot water in the bathroom; when we tried to adjust the AC, it just stayed at 22 degrees; the elevator was like a service elevator with plywood all around; and there is no place to hang around aside from your room (no lounge, place to sit, etc).

The property itself was cute and clean. The only dislike was getting into the building was a bit confusing for a foreigner. It was hard to understand which button to push, and pushing the buttons did not gain us access. We had to wait until someone came outside in order to enter. The instructions could be better on this. Outside of that, great and walkable! It was in a good location that made walking around to food and nearby shops easy!

Staffs are so nice and helpful when u needed. But the wash/dry machines takes forever to dry clothings, maybe it’s not suitable for hotel use.

Good place to stay

I did a short stay here (in a window room) because it was close to the airport. Location was pretty convenient for getting to/from the airport and was pretty good for going to tourist sites as well. The staff is friendly and speaks English, which is a plus. Note that the place is on the 12th floor of a building, but they have good signage for you to find your way. Downside would be that the sound insulation isn't great - unfortunately my bed was placed right by where the next room's door is in the hallway, so I always heard my neighbors door when they opened / closed it. The first time I was surprised and thought someone opened my door... fortunately though they didn't open the door excessively or really late at night, and there wasn't any other hallway noise.

Hotel does not offer much facilities.

Hotel is at level 12. There is no carpark available. We have to park in another building which is non-claimable and is charging per hour rate. There is no breakfast provided. The counter staff can't even recommend where can we have our breakfast. We have to roam around searching for food. Room is small even though we booked a three bedded room. The toilet is 5 cm above the bedroom floor. Not suitable for old folks. Hardly any shopping around. Situated at old estate. Not worth for the price we paid for. Would not recommend to stay in the hotel.

Pleasant stay in Taipei!

A very pleasant stay at Urtrip. The location is excellent and it is only 8’ walk from MRT station. Many eateries around the hotel and a Family Mart downstairs. The front desk crew was excellent, they were always ready to help and offerred any assistance with their full heart. The housekeeping was also as good, made the room freshly clean every day. The room I picked is small but is enough for one single person to say without any problem. If it is possible, select the room with window so you know whether you need to bring an umbrella or not.
