Room was very clean and comfortable. Had its own washer/dryer which was so helpful in the middle of our journey. The staff was very helpful too in helping us with questions and shipping luggage. Great stay!!

Great stay at the hotel. Good location. For my gym peeps: hotels.com states there is an on site fitness center and there is NOT. The fitness center is an over 15 minute walk away and not associated with the hotel. It is small. At least has dumbbells but bare minimum weight equipment. You also need to bring a second pair of shoes to wear in the gym.

This is the best location so far!! 2 min walk from Takayama Station! Super convenient and surrounded by local shops and restaurants. Family Mart is across the street for late night snacks. Really enjoyed the hotel with lots of space and amenities! Strongly and highly recommended. Staffs are extremely nice and speaks English!

Room we paid for 3 people was hugh. 4 people could stayed - 2 super single beds and 1 queen bed. A well stocked kitchen with plenty of utensils. An induction cooker which we did not use. Fridge stock with some drinks like a can of coke, saki and beer. Part of the package per day. Washing machine with dryer. A big bathroom and a separate toilet. Overall we love this hotel. Biggest we ever experienced for 3 adults.

I have no idea how this property is so highly rated. It’s an old building right next to the station. I booked it mainly for the washer/dryer which worked poorly. It took 7 hours to dry a load of laundry. Very poorly equipped with one old pot and one fry pan, both with scratched Teflon. Cannot recommend.

We chose this hotel because it is an apart-hotel and we wanted the in-room washer and dryer. This was incredibly convenient to have for the halfway point in our trip! I was worried about noise but there is NO issue here. The rooms have MULTIPLE windows blocking any noise from the trains. The beds are decent and the layout is good. We loved the location, Takayama is soo walkable! My only negative would be it wasn't as clean as most hotels in Japan and the staff were not friendly. This was odd compared to every other place we stayed. I requested an extra pillow from two different people and neither could fulfill that request. One took 10 minutes to find a pillow and when I asked about a pillow case they just shook their head. I had to politely decline since that is not sanitary. I was surprised the twin beds only came with one pillow and the front desk was unaware of how to procure more pillows. I would still recommend this hotel for affordability, location and accessibility for washing clothes!

We have enjoyed very much our stay. The room is huge. There is a two in one washer and dryer in the room, very convenient. The complimentary drinks in the fridge are refillable every day with beer, coke, green tea, and sake. There is free access to hot spring at another hotel 10 mins walk away.

Hotel is right next to the train and bus station, so easy to get to and to go on any day excursions. A short walk from yhe historic area of the town. Room was a decent size and had a large wardrobe. Fridge/freezer and washing machine in the room was great

Great location

This hotel is just next to Nohi bus station, location is super good and offer all the necessary amenities. Washing machine is in the room which makes the laundry so much easy to use. Strongly recommend. I will love to stay here again if I come back to Takayama. 👍

Stayed here on a family holiday in a large room with 3 beds. Great location (right next to the station with multiple restaurants and shops nearby) and good value. Very helpful staff. Clean rooms with amenities available as required. Only downside is that the hotel parking is very limited. However, there is a large car park on the other side of the station with plenty of space and it’s only a 5 min walk away. Would be happy to recommend to others.
