I can only add to the same and say that it’s an excellent hotel with extra large rooms, comfortable bed and an unbeatable location right across the station. We were a bit unsure of this hotel but we’re glad we stayed. It was a hostel that is now a hotel, so our room was quite large, set up with a kitchen, and would be perfect for a family. The bathroom was clean and new and it was all very comfortable. Not to mention complimentary sake and beer! It is across the street from Takayama station, so very convenient, yet on a street that isn’t busy.

You can’t do much better than this when staying in Takayama. Right next to the station and walking distance to key attractions. The family suite was amazing and my daughters loved the camping play room and projector. The breakfast was perfect and the staff couldn’t be any more helpful. Great value stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The property is in a fantastic location, just a 2 minute walk from Takayama Station. The rooms were very clean and spacious, with a great bathtub. Free breakfast had great options. The only downside was that there’s no lift from the ground level up to reception, which might be tricky if you have heavy luggage. Otherwise, everything else was excellent.
