We had a really great stay, the location and the Onsen is the main attraction for this hotel. There are generally not that many options and variety with food both in the hotel and in the nearby by restaurants and cafes, but that’s understandable given that the location, nature and ski resorts are nearby instead.

Excellent stay. Everything stands out. Clean, safe, wonderful, amazing snowy night and day. Staying there for 2 nights was so dreamy. The onsen experience was unreal. Breakfast was filling with a great set offered. Staffs were helpful and patient. Language barrier was not a big issue. They sincerely try their very best to accomodate. If you want perfect english, best to visit an english-speaking country.

Great Ryokan experience!

If you want to stay close to all the attractions the Kamikochi area has while also staying in a very comfortable hotel, this is the place for you. The kaiseki food at the hotel is superb, and the hot spring bath options are great, right in the middle of nature. I strongly recommend staying here for a relaxing vacation.

The location and venue was absolutely perfect. Only a short walk to the bus terminal, the hotel allowed me to park my car before checking in. Our room had its own onsen tub and it was so clean and up-to-date. The food was just okay… but I was happy overall with the service and everything else, that it did not matter.

Amazing stay

Amazing stay at this ryokan! The onsen in our room and private outdoor one were amazing and relaxing. The food was excellent, including the free milk, Yakult, and ramen throughout the day. All the staff were so kind and hospitable.

Place was nice, we got a kind attention for our anniversary. The schedule there is very precise for the check in, food, etc… choice for the drink is very very limited compare to other hotel. Very hard to find hot water unless you pay to have access to the lounge.
