⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful stay at Grand Southsea Khao Lak We had an amazing stay at Grand Southsea in Khao Lak. The hotel is beautifully located right by the beach, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The staff truly stood out – always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help with a smile. We would absolutely recommend Grand Southsea to anyone visiting Khao Lak and would happily stay here again.

Do not stay here. Issues experienced during our stay • Breakfast was not included, despite us believing we had paid for accommodation with breakfast included. This was disappointing and unclear at booking and check in. • Water frequently did not run at all in the rooms. • When water was available, there was little to no water pressure, making showering and basic hygiene difficult. • Toilets often would not flush. • When toilets did flush, they regularly blocked, creating unhygienic and distressing conditions. • Room key cards consistently failed to work throughout the entire stay, repeatedly locking us out of our rooms. • Staff would reset one key card, only for the other cards assigned to the same room to stop working, meaning the issue was never properly resolved. • There was a strong and persistent smell of sewage in and around the rooms. • Bedside lamps in each room would not turn off at all, impacting sleep and comfort. • At checkout, the hotel attempted to charge us for minibar items that were never used, totalling approximately 1500 baht across four rooms. • Management verbally agreed to refund one night for all four rooms and instructed us to process this through Hotels.com, however the hotel has since ignored all refund requests and follow ups from Hotels.com. • After checkout, communication and accountability completely stopped, continuing the poor service well beyond our stay.

Spøgelses hotel. Ingen charme og hygge. Problemer med aircon, internet og dør til altan som ikke kunne lukkes. Dyrt i forhold til prisen. Ingen egentlig restauration. Morgenmad ikke incl, men kan tilkøbes. I følge hotels.com til 350 bath, men i virkelighed koster det 500 bath pr person. Men - trods det skal fremhæves hotellets beliggenhed. Stille og rolige omgivelser og lige overfor den bedste strand vi indtil nu har oplevet i Thailand. Hotellet kunne godt trænge til en ny administration.

Sehr ruhig gelegen.Einige Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen.Es gibt keine Fahrstühle und das Personal ist etwas knapp. Wir mussten unsere Koffer in die zweite Etage schleppen. Für fen Preis waren wir in Thailand schon in besseren Hotels. Insgesamt hat es uns aber gefallen.

Staff were very warm, checkin and out were efficient. Facilities more than adequate - pool, gym, restaurant, bar, ktv, beach chairs, guarded parking etc. Room was large, clean and comfy as well. Just 1 quirk... The toilet door badly needs fixing, it can't close tightly and it's extremely hard to slide ooen/close.

Grand Southsea

Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin mukavaa ja avuliasta, saimme apua rikkinäisen saftyboxin ja tukkeutuneen wc-pöntön kanssa erittäin nopeasti. Hotelli on hyvin syrjässä, eikä kävelyetäisyydellä ole oikeastaan muuta kuin ranta, muutama paikallinen ravintola ja pieni minimarketti. Paikkana se sopii siis rauhallista lomailua arvostavalle. Me olimme täällä lomamme neljä ensimmäistä yötä, joka sopi meille mainiosti, näin saimme ottaa muutaman päivän aivan rauhassa ja tämän jälkeen siirryimme Phukettiin, jossa tapahtuu enemmän. Miljöö oli erittäin miellyttävä ja hotellilta löytyi kaikki tarvittava, joskin ainakin meidän huoneemme olisi kaivannut pientä pintaremonttia.
