OK Basic Room

The room was small and we felt somewhat cramped. We also did not get an accessible room as requested, which was a major inconvenience. The breakfast was basic; not many choices. They did have a cute retro refrigerator with a freezer which was a plus. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. If you’re looking for just a place to sleep, it’s fine.

I had no remote control, so advised attendant at desk at 8:15...at 10:40, I reminded her as the TV was on in room with a nice digital hello, but I couldn't turn it off. She said she'd look into it, but when I said I just need it to turn it off to sleep and would bring it right back, she got one for me to do just that. Bigger issues were the ac, which sounded like snow being shoveled, along with door bottoms with nearly an inch gap, with well-illuminated hallways bringing the light on in. Nicely kept property and room was clean.

Had everything needed for our one night stay. Bed was very comfortable and linens were bright white. Loved the modern touch of a shower that reminded me of a space capsule. Coffee was very good too. Highly recommend staying here.

Nice But Needs Better Maintenance Upkeep

Although the hotel is marketed as a Budget Friendly hotel we had some issues that should have been addressed long before we arrived. The hotel maintenance was pretty much NON-Existent! We arrived and the electronic room door lock/entry was loose. After entering and exiting the room a few times, it loosened to the point it was hanging by one screw! Unfortunately it was too late to move. We were afraid the lock was going to quit working altogether and we'd be locked out of the room. Also, the smoking area is located too close to the front parking area where people are loading and unloading their cars while smokers are polluting the air:-( Finally, the room A/C unit is placed right next to the bed and blows directly on anyone sleeping on that side of the bed with NO WAY to direct air flow away from the bed. And there is NO space between the bed and A/C unit to place something in front to divert the air flow.
