We are situated perfectly in the quiet, rustic Playa Langosta community with it's pristine, white sand beach across the street and only one mile from Tamarindo with its many shops, restaurants, tour activity and nightlife.

Our 5 star resort, welcomes you as you enter a naturally lush landscaped complex with all the amenities you would expect. Our professional property manager's concierge desk will take care of all your travel and activity requests prior to and during your stay.

Casa Delfin, with 1400 spacious square feet, is located at ground level, with a covered dining patio only 10 paces from our beautiful 90 foot garden swimming pool. No stairs to climb! Your villa is professionally furnished with a cozy living den for relaxing, private laundry with washer and dryer, and two large queen size bedrooms each with Spanish tiled bathroom and private garden showers.

The open dining room area will comfortably seat six adults. Try the rooftop shared open air patio, where you and your guests can take in the stunning views of the stunning coastline and spectacular sunsets. Just off the fully equipped kitchen, you have a additional outdoor patio with a gas burning BBQ for grilling Tamarindo's fresh caught fish..

Extensive use of beautiful teak wood adorn all the cabinetry complemented by locally quarried natural stone flooring throughout, Italian granite counter tops, imported Spanish tiled baths and GE stainless appliances in kitchen. The beauty and warmth of Casa Delfin is only matched by the unobstructed views of the Playa Langosta coastline.

Only footsteps to the white sand beach of Playa Langosta, which is an excellent beach to watch breathtaking sunsets, shell hunt, bathe in tide pools and enjoy excellent surfing. Beautiful property and condo. Had everything we needed. Very comftorable and safe. Host was very responsive and helpful. Being on the bottom floor was also really nice, especially for walking right out into the pool from the back porch. Would definitely recommend this location.

My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens), had a lovely stay at La Esquina resort. Our host’s local representative Melissa, was very responsive to all of our questions and needs. The condo was well appointed and the AC worked well but was a bit loud for those staying in the second bedroom. The outdoor toilet and shower took a bit of getting used to. The family of howler monkeys were fun to watch by the pool, but the Dad monkey had a real voice on him especially early in the morning. :)We were in Tamarindo over NYE and the city was bananas, which isn’t really our vibe, so it was nice to be a bit away from the craziness. There is a small grocery store which was a 5 minute walk away which was handy and the Tamarindo beach was a 10 minute walk away, although we personally preferred the Chonchal beach and that was a 45 min drive or so away. Unfortunately, we encountered a gas leak at the restaurant next door which impacted the smell in the unit. Melissa was very responsive when we told her about the odour. She sent a maintenance person over to ensure that everything at our unit was safe and discovered that it was a problem with the restaurant next door. It did come and go after we reported it, so hopefully it won’t be an issue for future guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at La Esquina Resort in Tamarindo.

Ah Tamarindo!

The place is nicely located. It does need some investment, and its sad the owner is either not paying attention or does not care. Oven counter top is cracked and needs replacement, TV is burnt and speakers broken, Master bath shower pan was clogged. I unclogged. Wifi and AC went out on our last night All in all - It's a perfect wonderful little condo that is desperate for some TLC, and a deep cleaning. One thing we really did'nt like is the pedestrian door from the outside world to the parking and thus interior was constistently being left open by someone.

Spring Break getaway

My husband and I took our college-aged son and his girlfriend on vacation for Spring Break. This place was perfect as we had beautiful, quiet Playa Langosta right in front and fun, more active Tamarindo within walking distance. The unit is clean and convenient. Melissa was very helpful and responsive if we had any questions during our stay. I highly recommend!

A week away for Spring Break

Our stay at this VRBO in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful atmosphere, and the beautiful accommodations. The home was spotless, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.The location was perfect—close enough to explore nearby beaches, restaurants, and activities, yet the patio was secluded enough to feel like our own private oasis. We loved waking up for a stroll on the beach. The pool was a highlight, perfect for cooling off in the afternoons while taking in the sunset.Melissa and Host were fantastic—responsive, helpful, and full of great recommendations for things to do in the area. Great spot to relax and enjoy Tamarindo

Great location just outside of Tamarindo. Easy walk to Tamarindo lots of great restaurants. We took surf lessons with Iguana Surf in Tamarindo, Alex was very helpful and it was tons of fun. Did day trips so it was a perfect spot to relax in between. The kitchen pretty much had everything we needed in it. I mentioned to Melissa from Send Me South that we were short on the basic spices and she brought us some the next day. The beach is a 5min or less walk away. There were 4 folding chairs, 2 umbrellas and 2 flutter boards that came in very handy at the beach, If you're not a beach person the pool at the condo is steps away, excellent for swimming and cooling off. Everyone had a great time and we would go back.

Quiet & Spacious

This condo was clean and a wonderful quiet retreat from the crazy busy Tamarindo ‘strip’. The patio was a perfect place to relax and the pool being steps from our patio was even better! The kitchen was well equipped and the washer/dryer offered convenience to do some laundry at the halfway point on our trip. We weren’t sure about the outdoor shower but ended up loving it! What a wonderful experience to shower among nature. Appreciated a couple of English TV channels and all the thoughtful extras like lawn/beach chairs, beach umbrellas & towels, coolers, movies, etc. Gated parking lot and building offered a safe and secure spot. Great place to stay!

Wonderful New Year's stay

We stayed for a week starting a few days after Christmas until a few days after New Year's. The property is just as pictured. There were five beach towels, two beach chairs, two beach umbrellas and two coolers to use. Very convenient beach access across the street. The outdoor bathrooms were fine. Sometimes there were sand crabs or giant flying grasshoppers visiting! The air-conditioning, beds, full kitchen were excellent. Loved having a washer and dryer. We brought our own eco-friendly detergent sheets. We were very impressed with Melissa the manager before, during and after our stay. She was very helpful. We rented a golf cart through her and it was great. Delicious restaurants within walking distance. The pool was almost always just us even though all the condos were filled all week.We would stay here again if coming to the Tamarindo area. It's a few minutes by golf cart or car to the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo. We loved the quiet of Playa Lagosta. The sunsets are beautiful from the beach or rooftop viewing area. We used the shuttle to and from the Liberia airport set up by Melissa as well.

First and last visit

We loved the location, the pool and the appliances in the kitchen area. Our interaction with the property manager(s) was less than we would have expected. We arrived on time with our driver from Liberia at 10pm, we had difficulty getting the door open the foyer was not lit and the key pad was difficult to navigate. When we called the property manager about our challenges she told us "I have two dogs to take care of and I'm unavailable to help". With the support of our driver, we managed to work through the problem, upon opening the door we noticed the door frame was very loose and not fixed while we were there for 9 days. The first time we met Melissa was when we rented a golf cart, which was the 4th day of our stay. There was no laundry detergent in the unit, we made the request and that was delivered later that day. Our flight was cancelled the day prior to departure, when we contacted Melissa she said she was sorry to hear but had another check in coming in and we would have to be out by 10am, this left us in a bind and we felt completely unsupported by her actions.We have been fortunate to travel around the world and stay in many different lodging types, this was one of the least satisfying and most difficult. I would hope the owner of this property reviews our comments and implements a standard that future travelers will feel supported during their stay and desire to return or share with their friends and family.

Great location and accommodations

I will start by saying Melissa was amazing! She helped us book travel, excursions, and transport. She made the trip so easy for us. The condo is just as described. Inside is very nice and comfortable. The location to the pool is key. Not only is it nice to look at but just steps off the patio. There is access to the beach just outside. Take the entrance that has the stairs. The other entrance (15 feet apart) was a little treacherous and we nearly lost our flipflops in the mud. The stairs were much easier. There is everything you need for cooking in the house. We did not use the washer but the drier was nice to dry our towels. The bathrooms are really unique and it was fun to shower outside. Not something I would want in my home but a great part of the para vida experience. I did not see monkeys but heard them several times. Melissa helped us get a golf cart. Not the best cart around but it met all of our needs. I highly recommend renting 1 while there. It makes it so easy to get to town and the beach. They set us up for charging at the condo so that was never a problem for us. It was also great that it was delivered and picked up right from the condo. The only negative I can come up with is a rug by the back door. No big deal, but would be nice to have a place to dry feet when coming in from the pool. We loved the area. It was quiet with minimal traffic. We felt safe walking around the area. It is nice that there is a store close and we stopped at the Surf Bar several times.

AMAZING STAY!!!

My fiancé and I had an amazing time here. Our room was clean and beautiful and the pool was great to cool off in 24/7. It was walking distance from the beach and a short scooter ride from town. There was plenty of dinning options near by and we loved the beautiful sunsets in the beach. We would definitely recommend staying here next time your in Costa Rica!

Pretty Great!

Liked the location, a bit outside city center. We rented golf cart which I'd recommend. Tamarindo is great spot to visit and lots going on. Melissa was excellent to work with and very helpful with all of our questions. Restaurant, juice bar, and cocktail room within walking distance. Beach accessible only a short walk down the path. Bathroom is open to the outdoors so keep that in mind.

This is a small condominium complex. At first the directions to find the place was a bit difficult but once you found it, you understood. There is construction going on around but the noise is not a detterent. The howler monkeys can be loud but you are in the tropics. The unit is advertised as with an outdoor shower but the entire bathroom is outside, complete with heat, humidity and some critters. The property management is not on site but pretty responsive-they suggested a golf cart to rent for $65/day and it worked out great.

Amazing place to stay

We stayed for two weeks with my sister and brother-in-law and completely enjoyed this lovely property. Super close access to Langosta beach and only an 8 min walk to access Tamarindo beach. Several delicious restaurants nearby and still walking distance (25mins) to all the restaurants of Tamarindo. We especially appreciated the walkout to the pool and Melissa was lovely to work with. Would definitely recommend :)
